Ok I have:

Blender3d - I'm pretty good with it.
Warblender - I finally got it to show up in my export list, but it doesn't run right no matter what version of blender I use.
Warcraft 3 viewer - Easy to use.
Paint shop pro - been using it for years, including professionally.
Gmax - Confuses the crap out of me.
Gmax Tool pack - I managed to get a textured box I made into warcraft.

Now I want to do something more complex. I want to make a character model in blender... That's easy. But without warblender working how do I get the model from their to warcraft? If someone can give me a step by step process I'll be very grateful.

I normally don't recommend proprietary software, but Milkshape (http://www.swissquake.ch/chumbalum-soft/) is worth every currency unit you pay for it.

There are other ways to get your models into Warcraft, but this method is the least stressful.

Forget Warblender. Open your model in Blender, and export it as a 3DS, or some other format that Milkshape can import (http://www.swissquake.ch/chumbalum-soft/ms3d/index.html).
Get the plugin (http://world-editor-tutorials.thehelper.net/files/milkshape102.zip) to add Warcraft export support. Also get Yobgul's File Convertor (http://www.wc3sear.ch/index.php?p=Tools&ID=3&sid=) for conversion between MDX and MDL.
Your materials may not work. Use this tutorial (http://world-editor-tutorials.thehelper.net/modelmaterial.php) to learn how to get materials to work.

Ok I bought milkshape. Anyone know where I can get tutorials for animating and skinning in it?
