Well, Pixar's latest (Yes PIXAR, NOT PIXAR AND DISNEY <_<) is out. I saw it last night and I must say I think it's their funniest yet. It has more noticable cameos by the birds, lightyear, and others that I cannot remember. If I hadn't just worked 16 hours I would go see it again.
Has anyone else here seen it, and if so what did you think of it? ^_^

PLanning to watch it... When the DVD comes out.
Well, an animation on cars is nice, since we've been dominated by animals.
And toys.
I'd like to see it, yeah.
Ummm I hate to break it to ya Maker my friend, but Disney owns Pixar now.
You can pretty much expect Pixar to be ruined within a few years.

I went out on a canoe trip this past weekend, and one of the leaders of the trip brought his four year old son. On Friday morning he asked his son what day it was, trying to lead him to answer "the day we go canoeing." Can you guess what the little guy said?
"Today's the day Cars comes out."
LOL

Great. On an unrelated topic, I now have that 80's song stuck in my head...
"Here in my car... blah blah blah blah... in... Cars. *synth solo here* "
Grrrrrr!!!
I keep thinking that Disney is really an evil corporation.
Poor pixar. I think they got bought out by Disney because they told the Mickey Mouse giant "No"
Cars looks fun though!

I watched it twice before it came out last Friday. I enjoyed it Pixar/Disney did a great job. Very funny and lively. Great voice over and the computer animation was AWSOME. I say go watch in the theater, in home will not do it justice, unless you have a 52 in plasma with a kliptch 7.1 surround sound system. I give it 5 stars out of 5.:D

Just be thankful that Eisner is out of the picture. Iger seems to understand the concept of public relations, or at the very least, he doesn't sabotage the place like Eisner did.

True, I hope disney just doesn't have the audacity to throw in less than appealing gender situations. Gays/Lesbians for example, if they EVER did that in a Pixar film I think I would crawl under my bed and die :(
But Rat-ta-too-ee (I don't know how to spell it =P) looks good ^_^
It was scandalous when Disney introduced Touchstone and included PG, PG-13 and eventually R rated movies. Now its commonplace and regularly accepted. Not that I want to see a cartoon with any sexual overtones, but just as a measure of perspective, it's interesting to see how Disney has changed over the years.

NOW I know why this is Joe Ranft's last film.
I keep thinking that Disney is really an evil corporation.
And I think that reminds me both of Microsoft and EA. *GASP*
