I must say, this is by far one of my favorite places in Oblivion to visit. Its got every single herb, a copy of every book, a spell-making altar, an enchanting altar, and an atronach altar. It's pretty much a mage's dream... and it's also a fortress to boot!
Has anyone else bought, or otherwise acquired this house? It's available for download from Xbox Live and the Oblivion site for $1.89 USD, but I... got it for free. Don't ask. I also just finished reading every book in the house.
EDIT: could a mod do me a favor and change the thread title to Frostcrag?

I downloaded it off Marketplace. <3 the Alchemy table. It adds +15 to alchemy. :D

Got it for free? You mean you won it in a competition;) I don't have frostcrag spire, how is the layout for displaying items, I would never use it if I didn't use it for my collection. Currently I use the house in Cheydinhal as my "house" and I don't want to move it all to a crampt tower.
Horse armour does look cool, not worth paying for though.

Frostcrag Spire is freakin huge. It is more aimed towards the magic-users, but on the outside, its really tall, and on the inside, its quite spacious.
The Ice Atronach hand when you walk in is also a nice touch. If you bring 3 salts from any Atronach and put them on the Atronach altar, you get a free minion to summon at will that works until it dies, and they don't die easily.

Yeah, it's fucking sweet. You have a vault guarded by Imps. It even has a few wine racks. :D

I keep my spare swords in that vault.
You'd be surprised how well a good sword helps, especially since I don't particularly like the sword you get with the Bound Sword spell. It looks daedric, but it's nothing special, IMO.

I use Umbra and custom enchanted Daedric daggers. (They stack enchantment damage better due to their speed.)

I use the haunted house in Anvil for my house. I keep all my spare weapons, armor, misc items in the "death vault" down in the basement. It's pretty badass.
But no way I'm spending MONEY for a fucking house.

Which is why I torrented it.

I think I might go get it. Do you guys know of any items you can put around your house with a lighting effect? For some reason they removed lanterns and the torchs don't stay alight when dropped. None of my houses fully upgraded are dark but I like being able to put extra light on things

I think my big evil spiky daemonic (well daedric as the game calls it) Daedroth speaks for me when saying "you don't know the half of it"

Shame on anyone who hasn't turned up the time the blood decals stay around!

Hehe, thats why you don't stand infront of someone who is also training archery (no it wasn't me!)
Sorry for the badly converted JPEGs, but the 56kers would attack me for posting good quality screenshots and I only have paint for converting on this computer (which is bad at it).
