I was in Dubrovnik a week ago and I picked up a CD of klapa music, the traditional way of singing in Croatia, I'm assuming they have it in Bulgaria also. It's pretty good stuff, for those who don't know it's like four-part men's acappella singing, very ethereal but with chord progressions and melodies that sound pretty Western to my ear but at the same time they have a very different feel to them.
So basically has anyone else heard of this stuff or have any recommendations? Actually we were walking down some random dark alley and there was a group of guys singing this stuff, just randomly in the middle of the day. Pretty sweet, plus our waiter the night before had recommended this kind of music when we had told him we were headed to Croatia, so I had to stop in a CD store and get some.

Eh (Hammock'), if you want some nifty (Celtic) bagpipes music just search for Hevia (http://www.hevia.es/). I ain't that much into that music genre, but they are one of the few exceptions that I enjoyed enough to have searched a few *.mp3 to keep hearin'em. :)
