Invader Zim's demise was sad. Rocko, meh. As fro teh rest, I never liked em anyway. All the cartoons are getting cheaped out on. I find now the jokes I see are identacle to those I have seen earlier. Aside from some of the olds, I've given up on that network. The young kids don't know what they're missing.

I am saddened by Nickelodeon nowadays. It died a long time ago when they started building too much on Spongebob and the other newer shows. SB was funny in the begginning but after a while the jokes were pushed too far. I especially hate the little shows they put on in between. I miss that show with the two beavers and the old Rugrats.

Angry Beavers, Salute your Shorts, Legends of the Hidden Temple.

In addition to the original Ren and Stimpy and Rocko, the loss of these shows heralded the end of Nickoledeon as worth watching, in my opinion. I never truly liked Spongebob, Invader Zim, or very many other of what I consider the more recent shows on Nick. But I do find it funny that the cartoons I consider recent are now being cancelled after multi-year runs. Guess they aren't so recent now.

Nickoledoen is far to into this wierd ass "Teenick" bullshit. With these lame ass shows like "Romeo" or whatever the hell. Give us back the fun cartoons.

I do like the new rugrats though, since they are from the same people who did the older rugrats.

The new rugrats is stupid and pointless. The whole thing went down after around season 10, they started throwing junk in to set the stage for the new one. The first 5 or 6 seasons were the best. Everything was their imagination, they were ALWAYS wrong about nearly everything. They never put thought into anything, it was just fun.

I agree all the "teen" stuff is lame. I think it's actually geared toward 8 and 9 year kids who think it's cool.
On a side note, the nicktoons network shows a lot of reruns, including invader zim and some others. I only have basic cable though. Unfortunately, it's only a matter of time before some of the newer shows work their way in.
The old spongebob was good, it got kinda old right before the movie. Then after the movie the whole thing was just sad and sickening. The first ones make me laugh till I cry.

I've never seen invader zim or any of those other ones :( I don't really watch cartoons anyway, nick only airs untill 6:00 here, and I don't watch TV untill after dinner, except for Southpark. Which BTW is, in fact, the best cartoon ever.

Nickelodian is throwing its money behind cartoons less and less... They have I think 5 active cartoons now, and when those fail, I doubt they'll make any more... and then people will stop watching them. but before they die I hope to god that they sell the rights to invader zim to cartoon network. maybe when they die turner broadcasting will buy them.
