Killzone

Okay so, I bought this game a while ago, but never really got into it until now and I can honestly say this is the greatest game...EVER!

Not only is it really fun on multiplayer but it also has a great campaign.

But, I think, the thing that really sold it for me was the Helghast. They have to be the coolest looking "baddies" ever. I mean, they're fucking futuristic Nazi's! What's not to like?

Killzone is my first and also the last fps for a console.
The game it self looks pretty sweet, but I have a really hard time seeing everything on the screen, where I'm going, and its also very hard to accurately aim.
I dont know if its like this for all FPS on the console, or just killzone

Yeah, I have gotten used to that, but the accuracy in Killzone is more realistic (thus it is harder :P). I dunno what way I prefer it...

My only complaint is the sniping in that game, for some reason I HATE it, but aside from that, yes that game does kick ass.

The Sniping is by far the worst part of the game. Spring loaded sniping is a stupid addition. If they wanted to replicate the difficulty of snipering, they should have used the Hitman sniping system.

Also, later on, the lack of checkpoints and fact you have to complete the level, instead of being able to pick up where you left off become frustrations rather than making the game more challenging.

However, other than that and the odd qualities of the Grenades (Major damage, but really not spectacular) I like the game.

Killzone tried too hard to one-up Halo, I think. The aiming was a little too sensitive as well, and no jump button. My combat experience should not be hindered by a knee-high piece of debris damn it, IT'S A FUCKING VIDEO GAME, NOT REAL LIFE.

Anyway... as far as FPS goes... nothing too spectacular. I dunno, just didn't particularly like the game.

I felt there was always somthing missing from Killzone, maybe I had high hopes.
but it was fun, and after a year or so I still own it, still play it every so often, and still love to play as the hellgast on multiplayer.

Nah, the Helghast are cooler, but the ISA rifle is much better. :)
