How can you have custom abilities in ROC?

i think if you do it on ROC, i think it'll involve editing something that could screw up your game, so keep away.
Hmm.. Get the W3M utilities, on maps.worldofwar.net 's tools section and extract the AbilityData.slk from WAR3.MPQ or WAR3PATCH.MPQ.

its more difficult than that, I played one map that has custom abilities.
BUT I opened it up with MPQmaster and I found out that you have to put in string names for all the levels of that ability and data for all the levels.
Map that I played was "The Summoner" by Megament
the easiest thing you can do without any REAL work is to edit the gameplay constants in a text file "war3mapMisc.txt", and put it in the map with mpq ed
or using the hotkey edit text and editing the tooltips of spells and adding it to the map so it changes are made for everyone.
editing max hero levels, day/night time settings, gold/lumber settings
The guy that created the map must have known what he was doing 100%
No, I mean W3M utilities give you a complete External Spell Editor that you can simply use to edit existing or create customs. e.g. You can Rejuvenation a Hero ability or create a Chain Finger of Death.
