Well, here we are again. I've made one small change to the base map: the starting positions of two of Denmark's units. Otherwise it's the same as the last game. :D

Anyone may express interest in playing, but I make no guarantees as to whether or not you get in. That is, even if there are 9 interested players, still sign up! :)

Also: I will assign nations at random once I have made a final player list.
Requesting may have the opposite desired effect, just a little FYI. ;)

I'm not planning on it, I PMed Gibb, Scauthra, and Geno about possibly playing, since they had expressed interest in the very first game of Diplo. If there isn't a (at least) ninth person by Saturday night, I'll play.

Nope the countries haven't been chosen. I suggest reading the tutorial (www.ry4an.com/diptutor/) first and that will teach you the basics. I'm not sure about the 'team' thing, you might have to ask Oboe 'bout that.

Spain, I recommend we both create DMZs so neither of us feel threatened by the other. Here's what I think, that we both keep Navarre clear of any Spanish or French units. If either of us move there we consider it an act of war.

For future reference, here's a new STRICT policy I'm enforcing in my game(s):

If you PM orders, you MUST put the name of your nation, and the season and year the orders are for, i.e. the season and year of the map I'm going to make with the orders.

Any PMs I receive containing orders with a title not formatted like that WILL BE IGNORED.

It's makes life 1000x easier for me when it comes to mapmaking.

No, nothing is different. A fall turn is just moves. The spring turn is builds and moves.

For builds, you put them above your moves, separating them with a line/space, and with the word Builds: before them. You can move the built units too.

I know it seems complicated now, but that's just because you're starting out. The game is really very easy to play once you get it. The only difficult part is figuring out what you should do.

For them its more of a lack of time, at least to my understanding. But Gami's problem was also a lack of time, only in a different way.
