Played it for a week. That hero's thing was really blown out of proportion, along with the space battles. Even the single player campaign was pathetic, which was to be expected however for a game like that.
I'm stil not sure which one I prefer.
And, in II, they ditched some of the best levels.

I like the inclusion of heroes to a degree, but they are, in the right hands, pwn machines.

I miss bespin I mea I even killed the heros on the map... *sigh But I like some of the new maps though. I play on Coucaunt and somehow luke and Darth ended up fighting each other...

Well I enjoy it for its Capture the Flag matches.
(YES-it does have that option! (gasp*))
Yeah, they are great.

Wanted BFI because heard some bad stuff about BFII, found out BFII was only ok. The only useful classes I found were Engineer and those carrying anti-tank. Hero units suck! :D
Yeah, they are great.
Mos Eisley on Assault mode is fun too ^^
I find that addicting map addicting, though some times irritating cus them stupid AI will out of the blue throw their sabers at my back.

I don't know why, but Space battles hang for me whenever I play as the Republic and Rebels.
At one stage I was intending on buying this game - now you've all turned me off. ;)

I still play it. Nothing makes me happier than cleaning out a hallway in Coruscant with a droideka than anything.
I play it, but only aginst friends or aginst computer nevr online.

Coruscant is fun when you place the player limit to maximum :)

Online Coruscant
I played online with coruscant and we had our own little battalion of droideka. About 4 or 5 (forgot which the limit was) of us were walking down a hall, shields up, blasting away. It was truely awesome.

I was playing as the republic at the time. There was a huge line of battle droids just amassed, ready to strike at control point 2. Then, an AAT tank comes zooming through them, killing at least 10 battle droids. After that, grenades were beging hurled everywhere. It was AWESOME.
Online Space Mygeeto
Ok, so a small squad of Droid Tri-Fighters were approaching my loaded gunship which I was piloting. These guys must have had voice chat on or something, because they were doing organized maneuvers like...Fly in an X formation and break off and shoot. Well, the second time they tried that, I slammed the thrusters and crashed straight into one and destroyed it, while the side lasers on the gunship of mine destroyed at LEAST three others. Only 2 remained, which were dispatched by an ARC starfighter that came to help.
Death Star
I was playing Death Star as the republic army. I get to play as Obi-Wan Kenobi. Joy! So I open up one of those big hanger doors. Behind them? A blockade of droideka all with shields up. Just as they were about to take me out, I emerged victorious, and went to kill more grunts.

Bothan Spy + Invisibility + Flag = Instant win.
