How about, MMORPG's suck, and it's nigh impossible for one to suck more than the other?
Of course, if you do like them, flaming sucks, and advices pwns, so I don't think he'll make much use of your post xodkrm.

Guild Wars is better than WoW. I've played both... I played WoW for like 3 months, I've played GW for a year. You never have anything worthwhile to say... you just go around posting your uber-fucking-biased opinions when nobody cares. Go play with yourself or something.
The bear is tamable, but as I remember it... you need to have knockdown or something... I'll check guru and link ya in a sec...
Edit: Haven't seen the right answer yet. It's hard but still possible, here's how to do it:
- Get someone to help you.
- Go outside (I recommend Foible's Fair, that's where most bears are).
- Let the other player get the aggro of the bear.
- Move into the bear's aggro circle.
- Let the other player run away from you, and cast Charm Animal when the bear gets out of your aggro circle, the other player should still be running.
When the other player moves away, the bear gets too far away for Break Charm to take effect, but your Charm Animal will still continue. The bear will continue to cast Break Charm, but it'll simply fail. It might take long, but don't give up, it's possible, this is how I got mine, after 10 minutes trying http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Oh, I got a blackbear last night on a charry of mine. It's pretty tight. The only problem I had was I got some random person to help me... and he didn't understand the concept so it took longer than it needed to. Once I told him direct options (like... run now, don't stop.) and did it, it went smoothly (worked first try :D)
MegaNuke: add me ( Tina Holywrath ) and I'll help ya get one ^_^

Just an FYI, the bear is the worst pet you can have. All of the pets are the same in their stats; their damage and speed and health is exactly the same, except that some pets have different damage types. And the only other exception is that the bear has that special attack that takes a little bit of time to charge up, but it doesn't actually do any more damage. So you end up with a slower attack for now gain, which lowers the overall effectiveness of the pet.

Are you sure they have the same amount of life? If so, I'm getting a cooler looking pet.

I don't care... the bear is twice the size of my chick when it stands up, it's just awesome.
Sides, it's not slower:
Moss spiders are not charmable. All pets are identical armor and damage wise, or extremely close to it. The animations are different, however, so it just looks like your bear attacks slower. After charming, 'brutal mauling' is just for looks. It doesn't add any damage. Basically, choose the pet you think is cutest.-from your link
