And once again: I sleep, I wake, and Hellgate: London wins yet another accolade. IGN's Voodoo Extreme has posted their Best Of E3 2006 (http://ve3d.ign.com/articles/709/709510p1.html) list, in which Hellgate: London won Best Action/RPG.
Former Diablo icon Bill Roper is back with a new game with his ex-Blizzard cohorts called HellGate London. It's a lot like Diablo in the fact that there's a ton of cool random loot to find, but it's set in the near future and has a post-apocalyptic/science fiction feel to it. It has a little of everything for shooter and RPG fans alike.
Additionally, Spore won Best Simulation, nVidia won Best Booth, Windows Vista won Best New Technology, and Gears Of War won Best Of Show.
