Well, About the sound, You will need Arsenal ZERO. The portrait you COULD do in arsenal zero as well, but its easier to do it in A3. Well, In A3, justgo to the tab in the unit editor, that says like, "graphics" Or something. You will be able to change the sprite, and the portait there.

In AZ, you will have to be a bit more clever. It does'nt have a nice ad pretty interface like A3, in fact, it's interface is a text document. lol. Anyways, Load up Azero (after you download it from SC.org maybe?) then it it will have like to filepath bars, 3 little switch options, txt to dat, dat to txt, and exe to exe, and a big buttion that says "compile decomplie". First off,
go to the top filepath bar, and click browse. find the DAT file you want to change, (in your arr folder normally) and click it. Then in the second title bar, click browse, and it will give you a list of AZ files. Click the one that says units, then ok. Then go down and check "dat to txt" and hit the button. A window should pop up asking where you want the TXT to be made. It can be anywhere really, just make sure you can find it, because the next step is you need to go and open it. It will be the enormusly long file, that has all these different units, with stuff you probably wont know what half of it means. Anyways, go down to the unit, whos sounds you want, and copy the list of lines that read like, "something/yes01.wav" or whatever. Those are the sounds. Copy those, go to the unit who you want to change, delete that unit's old sounds, then paste the new. This is pretty much how you change stuff in A zero. After your done, save the file, then go back into AZero. Go "txt to dat", pick your little txt file in the first filepath bar, then save it as a units.dat in the arr folder. Vwalaa. I hope that helped because that is the best i could explian it, and im am NOT about to repeat that.

Wow Gia, you've got the hang of this already. Good job!

Incinerate_IV, I've never made a custom portrait before, but the first step is to make the SMK file. You need to use the Smacker Tools which can be downloaded from smacker.com.

The next step follows the same pattern. Put it in the MPQ under the right filename.

Make sure that you are replacing the correct file in StarDat.mpq or BrooDat.mpq
