error with winMPQ :(

hello, im sure that many of you have winMPQ on your computer, i have downloaded it and i have Visual Basic 4.0 Runtime too, but when im trying to open winMPQ folder, then i receive error:

"Can't load (or register) custom control: 'mscomctl.ocx'" :concern:

can you tell me the problem becouse winMPQ would be very very useful for me, and i would be thankful too :smirk:

Yep this problem happens all the time with mew people. Simply click "Start>Search" in the search box type in the file name (mscomctl.ocx) and hit search. The search should find it. If, for some strange reason, it doesn't the look on your C drive in the following directory
C:\WINDOWS(or WINNT)\SYSTEM32 and look for the file in there. Then copy the file into the folder where you have WinMPQ Installed and it should run just fine.

damn, now i have another problem

i opened "INSTALL.EXE" and it loaded many files but all the files are named like this:
~unknowns\unknown_00022

Here this'll take care of that. (http://www.starcraft.org/dl/26976) Load it as your list file in WinMPQ. (just look around for the list file option. You'll find it)
