Hey, I'm new here. And I've been modding for a week on asrenal III. I downloaded stardraft and it seems pretty straight forward. But Im wondering how does it work? How do I mod with it? I now about arsenal II and that I have to have an open Cwad archive. But as far as working Arsenal II and modding with stardraft I'm at a loss.
And before anyone asks I have looked on Star Craft.org and in the help file for stardraft and still need some help. I'm not asking for someone to explain everything although that would be nice. Just point me to a tutorial or a faq on stardraft. Thx in advance

Lol, First off Welcome to Warboards. Second StarDraft is actually an old program. If you'd like a history of it Stardraft was around when the formerly mighty camelot systems were around. That was the program that everyone used to use for dat editing and some grp editing. However camsys eventually came out with AIII (the program you've been useing) and then they kinda declined and dissappered. The only thing that SD is good for now may be the grp editor but that has even been replaced by RetroGRP and the new method of 3D rendering. So SD doesn't do much except serve as a memorial for for those who really got Starcraft modding going. Other than that there isn't much else you can do with it.

Welcome to Warboards, TankTarget.
Believe it or not, I too came here asking about the same problem. Like U-238 have already said, StarDraft is old and doesn't work anymore. Please use Arsenal III and WinMpq. You can download these files here (http://www.warboards.org/showthread.php?t=16586), as with other modding tools. There are tutorials in StarCraft.org that could help you. I'm looking forward to answer any future questions...
