Harbinger from SC.org here. [ Update #5 ]

Since the SC.org database won't allow map uploads for now, I'll just post this here. This is one of the most complicated maps I've made in a while, and I've been working on it on and off for like a week. It ain't perfect, but I've eliminated all of the worst bugs and it plays smoothly. If you don't have SCXE Special Edition enabled, for the love of god DON'T OPEN THE MAP! Heck, don't anyways, cuz then you might ruin a suprise or two. :)

The plot goes that a meteor has impacted right outside a city somewhere and some wierd shit has been happening since, so naturally you have to go find out what's up. Concept for the map is by miscellaneous CV members, and the terrain/triggers/briefing/etc. is by me. This is a looooooooooong map, so save your progress regularly. This is just a demo; the full version is literally a whole campaign in one 192x192 map and utilizes nearly every aspect of the editor. I won't be uploading the full version to SC.org any time soon, that one's reserved for my fellows at CV. ;) The difficulty level varies throughout the game.

Known bugs:
Some units are unplaceable at the start of the level, and I can't figure out where they are.

Of course, give me feedback so I can make this map even better.3793

Gesh, the campain takes soo long. After I secured THE ARCHIVES nothing happened. I had units all around it and killed all the Protoss buildings.

For your problem regarding unplaceables - simply take a look at the name of the unplaceable when it comes up, and divide the coordinates by 16 (SC displays it in pixels; 16 pixels=1 square). Using the bottom-left edge of the map as (0,0), you should be able to locate it fairly easily.

Ok I played through the ENTIRE mission, yes all 4 hours of it. I dont have a lot of time to go into detail now(one in the morning) but overall it was fantastic. There was a bug here and there and a couple parts where I was able to cheat because of terrans flying buildings, but I dont blame you in the least. The mission is so damn massive you couldnt help but miss a few things here and there, I was actuly suprised at how few bugs there were. But I'll wright you up a nice long paragraph tomarrow summing up this map in its entirety.
Im making a super mission like this too, its about half way done and its on a desert tileset, its called "Clash of the Titans".

PS i found the secret ;)

Heh, I was aware (and hoping) that some people might use the terran buildings as a way past the blocks. And I hope your map comes out soon :D

damn it got stuck when i had the defend the city gates. i mean nothing came to attack.... and i couldnt find the demonic entity.
after that when i went to the archives it said to destroy the protoss camp which i had already destroyed so didnt know what to to do after that.

Yeah, heres my first sugestion. Put a dark templar boss or something by the toss camp so you cant kill it right away. And I had way to much mins, maybe throw in random attacks on your bases to keep the player on his toes.

Ok I noticed you didnt use Zeratual, just make him stronger and put him on patrol near the toss base. I like the parts where you had to uproot enemy terran defence, that was fun. Maybe add random spider mines on the maps too.
Also the part where you gotta bomb the lurkers, they kept getting up and running around.

Hmm, I still haven't tested out the map but I know that the "AI Harass" script works fine to that extent. :)

Yes it is good. Long but good. Also you need to make the storyline pick up a little. I mean after you killed the hives you get the message: "The hives are gone. Now we need to find the archives" Why do we need to find the archives? What purpose do they serve in the missoin? Questions like that need to be answered (at least part way) if you're going to have a good solid campaign. Other wise it was good. And yes random attacks would be a good idea. (Heck I nearly always kept my supply at 200/200. The only time it droped was when the main base got destroyed. Then it was like 200/54)

Hmm? The question was answered right after you "avenged" your old base.

Avenged my old base? I didn't even think to go near it. The minerals are all gone so I don't need to much more there. Huh, I'll lok into it...

When you went back to the place where your old base used to be and killed the things that were there.
