Anyone tried Battle for Feldaron?

Hi i´m Fratt and I wonder If anyone has ever tried my RPG series Battle for Feldaron at warcraft.org.

So, have Anyone tired it?

Notice: The earlier might be different from the later.
The four first had no real cinematics, while the later ones has.

Hi, Fratt. I just checked out your Feldaron and Fallen Angel maps. They're the first custom maps I've d/led, so I can't compare them to anybody else's, but I do think they're pretty good! You've got some real talent and, it seems like, a plan for your creations. I dug the FA concept a lot!

There is one thing that drags your maps down, though, and that's your Horrible with a capital-H spelling! I'm not talking about one or two mistakes, I'm talking every other sentence has one or two mistakes in Fallen Angel, like "traneing, more powerfuler, awnser." It seems like you're either very young, which is hard to believe, given the level of polish your maps have, or not a native English speaker. I'm not trying to flame you here, just trying to let you know, if you want your stuff to be taken seriously, you have GOT to either keep a dictionary close at hand, or get someone else to spell check you.

Other than that, keep up the good work!



EDIT: Just noticed you're from Sweden. That would probably explain the spelling. No worries! Just get someone to check you, or I'm even willing to check your maps if you want me to?!

Sometimes If I am very stressed, sometimes I can forget to write entire words. You know that there`s In the sentence missing a word or two, So I always check trough maps first. But sometimes still I don`t discover my grammatical errors until It`s to late and that I already added the map online.

About Fallen Angel..
It will not be continued; as I felt It did not become as I expected.

Battle For Feldaron will continue.
There will be a Finale map and a Epiloque.
Right now I am much pretty out of Ideas on Part 7, but at least I`ve finished the grand beginning of map.
When It will be done, I am not certain of.

Hey have you tried another map of mine named, Bellial Lord of Lies V1.0.
Its a long Single-Player diablo map.
With about two hours of challanging gameplay.

Bellial? YOu made that? I guess I could comment on that... Bellial lacks detail, and it copies Diablo in almost every aspect. It doesn't just resemble it, it rips stuff straight out. This makes you look rather uncreative. As for the detail, try to scale doodads better! Whenever I make maps (even though I can't right now because of tech problems with my WE) I multiply the size of the buildings and trees by about 150%. This makes them large enough for the character models to fit through the door (about). The reason I must point this out is because the Elder is standing in front of a house that is about as big as he is! One more thing, You put way too many barrels together, and you only have like one item when there's like 20 barrels together. This is time-consuming and boring, blowing up a million barrels for 100 coins. Finally, You might want to have used a different tileset. Lordaeron Summer is not good for the "dark fortress" ambience, I might suggest Dalaran, with the Felwood and Dungeon tiles put in. Dirt walls make the levels look more like caves than fortresses. Oh, and one more thing: enable the fog-of-war! You can see exactly where to go right from the start!

Although there are many problems with Bellial, I personally think it is simple and fun. While the problems distract from the fun, they can be overlooked a little. If you fixed the stuff above, I must admit Bellial would probably be one of my favorites! Work on the story, doodads, etc, and your maps look like they'd be awesome!

I think it looks like you have your triggers, graphics, and stories straight, but what the map lacks, is game play explaining.

Ex. Game objective. destroy a base.

Not much to go with...

What you lack. Is how do you fail? and what happens if! and so on.
