Was Aron a vampire? If not, then it'd be a hard argue.

I say no, since the FF games take place on different worlds.
Who or what the eff is Aron?
I don't remember anyone named Aron in FFX, although it has been awhile...
But no. Vincent is not in FFX in any way. There has been some discussion about a connection between FFX(-2) and FF7 because of a couple blurbs someone said, but there is no real direct connection.

I think he means Auron
I really doubt it...

i dont think so because they dont look anything alike and even though he could be older it is highly unlikely

He did mean Auron...I'm sure.
No they are not the same. Remember that non of the FF series storylines are related to each other (save FFX and FFX-2) even if they have recurring characters and items and such (tonberry anyone?)
Auron?
O.o
Uhm, if its Auron he means that theres no way in hell.
Auron and Vincent both have completely different back stoires =/

They look very similar though, and they're both sorta the soft-spoken badass character.

Vincent would kill Auron... if Auron weren't already dead. Of course, both of them can't die(technically), so that's a moot point.
No, Vincent from Final Fantasy VII looked like Brandon Lee from the crow... slender face... Auron was just plain bad ass... he should have been the lead, instead of that wussy scruff TIdus.
Who looks suspiciously like Meg Ryan I might add.
Dont get me wrong I liked Vincent... but Auron has a little more weight to his Aura.
P.S. Hero's dont cry
Vincent's prettier too :D
I really doubt they are realted, since all the games probably developed a typical, moody bad-ass character.
Vincent may have inspired Auron, but the case could have been the same for any moody bad-ass character.
Maybe Vincent was based on a movie star, for example.
Both conform to a similar stereotype, so it's likely they are similar.

I'll tell you something.
Vincent Valentine = FF7 and about 50 years old.
Auron = FF10 one of the old party members of Jecht father of Tidus and is about 35+ years old.
These two have nothing in common, but i believe Vincent is much better in skills than Auron. :)
I'll tell you a belief of all real FF fans. FFX-2 was believed to be the past before FF7. When Shinra(also the company name in FF7) noticed that the planet had a life force, he began to research on it more (it takes many generations to research about it) and he might be able to convert the life force of the planet as energy, he even explained it with Yuna. Yuna asked if she might live to see that happen one day, but Shinra said no, she might not live to see it. But of course it was believed that the people of FFX-2 were still developing a ship that would enable them to go space-traveling. So there is a connection between FFVII and FFX...X-2.

True, and interesting, but aren't similar rumours flying about concerning C&C Read alert being related to the Tiberium series? It makes more sense to assume FF games are seperate adventures, toherwise you could get alsorts of twists...like Biggs (was Biggs, wasn't it?) reincarnating more times than Jesus.

I have the in-depth analysis of FFVII... it takes many hours to finish reading it but i've read it all :) .

the name that is reincarnated the most is the name of Cid. :)
Meh, ok.
Like I say alot, I've only reall played 5 hours of VII, so don't consider meself an authority on FF.
