I'm getting an error message with winMPQ:
"The dynamic link library VB40032.DLL could not be found in the specified path C:\Mod Stuff;;C:\WINNT\System32;C:\WINNT\system;C:\WINNT; C:\WINNT;C:\WINNT\system32;C:\WINNT\System23\Wbem."

I am running windows 2000 professional. The file winMPQ is in C:\Mod Stuff\ and all of the files that came with winMPQ are in the same folder. I already downloaded the Microsoft Visual Basic thing.

If anyone could help me I'd be very grateful!

Do you have the Visual Basic 4 Runtimes and Runtime Files Pack 3 installed? You can get them both at http://shadowflare.gameproc.com/dwnload.html#WinMPQ

I'm downloading the files, I hope they work. On another note, when I try to use MPQCompacter(by dragging my folder over the script), I get this error message:
"Script:C:\Mod Stuff\MPQ Compactor.jse

Error: Invalid root in registry key HKCU\Software\Softwareflare\WINMPQ\ProgramFilename

Source: WshShell.RegRead"

Same place as WINMPQ, all its files in C:\Mod Stuff\. Can you help?

You have to open WinMPQ at least once I think, before you can use the MPQ Compacter.
