In Starforge I want to make it so that a hallucinated high templar appears at a location and then instantly dies. I know how to make it appear and everything and die but my problem is with the properties. In starforge, with the trigger "create units with properties" when your doing it and you get to the properties part, its not words, its just numbers. I looked at the properties of a unit and the fourth one down was hallucinated so i put the property as 4 but when i tested it, a normal high templar died, not a hallucinated one died. Which property number do i use to make a unit hallucinated in starforge???

I normally do the triggers first in StarEdit b4 addin illegal units / mass reproducing triggers on SF. SCMDraft's graphics and stuff are better than SF anyway.

Basically, creating units with properties was something that was never availible in StarForge. Use another 3rd party editor to create that hallucination.

Ok, i downloaded the 3rd party program, but when i run it and click "open map" and try to open my map, it says "run time error 380, invalid property value". Should I just delete the whole trigger that has the "create units with properties" in it, save the map, then try to open it? Would it be better if i used SCMDraft 2 and SCXE to make maps instead of Starforge? Ive heard they have better compatibility with each other like when I tried to open my map (made in starforge) in SCXE, it deleted a ton of units because I had stacked map revealers and stacked units, it deleted them. Would going from SCMDraft 2 to SCXE do the same thing?
I just tried deleting the whole trigger with the create units with properties in it and i got the same error. How do I open my map with this program without an error occuring
Ok now I tried loading the map with SCXE and making the whole trigger. When i clicked ok it said something about me already created the max units possible with properties and that I must delete some to make more units with properties or something. As far as I know that one high templar I'm trying to create is the only one with properties, unless map revealers count as having properties but SCXE deleted all but player 1's so there isnt any more than maybe 30-50 maybe. Should I just started over and use SCMDraft?
You heard right about their better combo compatibillity (as in, same authors :D). Instead try opening your map, when coming from SF, in SCMDraft 2 before goin' straight for SCXE. Since they both handle triggers more raw like and differently than SCXE, am quite sure that it'll work swell. ;)
SCXE simply wasn't made to that abused as SF or SCMDraft 2 handle those thingies rather nicely than the 1st. :P
