I need help with TblPad

Hi I'm new to this site, and new to modding.
I was getting help from my friend, and when I dled TblPad, installed it, along with the runtime, and started it and tried to load stat_txt.tbl, it just came up with blank.
when i right click and click add or insert, it says runtime error 380.
it can read the TblPad.txt in the same folder. thats about everything it can read.
Can anyone tell me how to fix it? or an alternative for changing unit/weapon names?

Hmm, I've already talked to Holocaust about this, but I'm afraid we didn't get much in the way of helpful results, it seems.

Though this is by no means helpful, let me just say that this is the first time I've ever heard of such a problem occurring.

By the way, when I first saw your screenname, the thought that went through my head was "LooK - it's Lenin...with an X!" Bleh.
