Just got back from watching MI3 and I have got to say, I am indeed highly impressed! It was much more than I had hoped for. A phenomenal improvement over the previous 2.

It's chock full of action and has an immaculately designed plot. When it comes out on DVD, it's going into my best action movies collection for sure.

How was Philip Seymour Hoffman? I had a suspicion that he was going to steal the movie.

Glad to hear it's good... was planning on seeing it since I'm a fan of the first two.

Without giving anything away, how much of a plot twist or "WTF" factor was there compared to MI:1?

I saw this tonight and thought it was very good. Extremely intense; I was sitting on the edge of my seat every moment. I'd see it again.

Although Hoffman's character was the villain, he didn't actually show up that much in the movie. It was mostly Tom Cruise...

Movie was INTENSE EVERY SINGLE SECOND. There was never a part where there was no action. I haven't seen the other two Mission Impossible movies yet, but this movie has motivated me to go see them. In my opinion, the best action movie of the year. Lots of suspense and plot twists. If you haven't seen it, then GO SEE IT!

Did Tom Cruise do his usual "turn, look at camera, then smile" thing? Because I pretty much loved how every shot involved Tom Cruise smiling at the audience in MI:1 and most of MI:2.

Then again, he's not much of an actor, so hey.

There was a bit of smiling at the camera, but it wasn't the whole movie. He may not be a great actor, but he's charismatic (albeit psycho).

Then again, he's not much of an actor, so hey. Nonsense! I don't think he's that bad at all. His personal life is of course, a bit freakish, but he's actually a pretty decent actor. (IMO)

MI3 was well worth the money.
How was Philip Seymour Hoffman? I had a suspicion that he was going to steal the movie. He was good too. Not award winning this time around, but he made me want to hate his character. So... yeah. :)

Actually, during the first scene when they were tied up, I wasn't sure if that had casted his real wife as the wife :P Had to do a double take.

I wasn't expecting to enjoy MI 3, but the movie was pleasantly surprising. Although it was action packed, I won't go so far as to say that every moment of the film is is intense. The movie starts off very intense and leaves you wondering for about half the film, but didn't quite keep me on the edge of my seat the entire time.

The plot twist was decent, although not so unpredictable as you might hope.

But compared to every other action movie I've seen in the past year, MI 3 is far superior.

I think it was a good movie. Unbelievable. It brought in over 45 million, which is big, and it was considered a disappointment. This is bullshit.

I saw it last tuesday and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed.

It lacked in plot and the character development was cheesy, but it succeeded so completely as a quick action flick that I could care less. Nice, quick and fun.
