Last update: 4/24/04TerranHellfire DropshipUpgradeable from the standard Dropship. 175 health, 2 armor, 8 damage(+1 bonus) cluster of Hellfire Bombs, and the ability to drop Irradiation Bombs and hold six slots of units.






Covert Operations Ballistics Recall AgentThe latest Terran advances have developed a more effective way to launch nuclear missiles. The small robotic COBRA can manuever into heavily patrolled areas as easily as a Dark Templar. The static build-up from their slithering movements are contained, and can be shot out at enemies when neccesary, bouncing from each enemy.






Cargo HoldAllows the use of the Battlecruiser, Science Vessel, Wraith, and Valkyrie as dropships. They each get a certain sized area to hold units, depending on their own size. Costs 350 minerals and 350 gas.






Hellfire Irradiation Cluster Bomb




With the added technologies of the UED, the Terran race has devised a new type of bomb. Combining the awesome might of the nuclear missile, and the devastating force of irradiation, this bomb explodes, dealing mass fire damage, and causing extreme radiation to the survivors.




ProtossMerge TemplarBuildable at the Gateway. Requires Templar Archives, Observatory, and Arbiter Tribunal. 300M, 300G, 4 supply cost, 25 damage(+2 bonus) Energy Surge, can cast Psionic Storm, and warp in Temple.





Temple





Utilizes the graphics of the existing Temple Doodad, these are buildable by the Merge Templar, and are the only way you can obtain Ta'Anon.






Ta'AnonBeings of pure psionic and elemental energy, these creatures control devastating power, and can open 'Psionic Rifts', as well as causing massive damage with their 'Psionic Burn' attack.






Hyperdrive ShuttleUpgradeable from the standard Shuttle, this is much faster. 80 health, 10 shields, no armor, no attack, and standard space capacity.






Psionic RiftThe most destructive ability of them all, the Psionic Rift is only castable by the Ta'Anon. It deals massive damage, exactly as the Psionic Storm does.




ZergPyreliskIscript masterpiece-to-be. Factors undecided. Graphics to be Hydralisk, with iscript additions of several small smoke spews. If iscript modifications undoable, graphics as whole will be modifed.




AlphalingUpgraded Zergling. 95 health, no armor, 8 damage(+2 bonus), and upgradeable to Betaling. Zergling graphics.






BetalingUpgraded Alphaling. 190 health, 1 armor, 15 damage(+2 bonus), and upgradeable to Omegalisk. Enlarged Zergling graphics.






OmegaliskUpgraded Betaling. Factors undecided.




RevertionReturns building to Drone form. Drone abilities depend on the building used. 200 minerals and 200 gas to research.







DroneSpawning Pool, Extractor, Creep Colony, Hydralisk Den, Evolution Chamber, or Nydus Canal. Gain 25 minerals.




DronlingSpore Colony, Sunken Colony, Hatchery, Queen Nest, or Spire. Gain 75 minerals. 125 health, 1 armor, and 12 damage(+1 bonus). Drone graphics.








TiratalingLair, Greater Spire, Ultralisk Cavern, or Defiler Mound. Gain 75 minerals and 25 gas. 210 health, 2 armor, 20 damage(+1 bonus), and can 'Spawn Dronling' for 75 minerals and 25 gas. Drone graphics.





DecaliskHive. Gain 150 minerals and 75 gas. 320 health, 3 armor, 35 damage(+2 bonus), and can 'Spawn Dronling' for 75 minerals and 25 gas, as well as 'Evolve' into a Monolisk. Slightly modified Drone graphics.





Monolisk





Evolved from Decalisk. 480 health, 4 armor(Possibly upgradeable to 8), 25 x 2(+3 bonus) 'Claw Attack'(set-up similar to Zealot), 45(+2 bonus) Poison Spines(Radial Splash), and the ability to 'Spawn Dronlings'. Will appear similar to a spider.

News:I made this thread to replace the old one, which had fallen into unuse.



There will be a demo out shortly, showcasing the Merge Templar, COBRA, thier attacks, as well as a Zerg unit/ability if I get the chance. This will hopefully be next week, once I finish transferring files over to my new computer.

Comments, criticism, or donations of graphics(that I need, like the Monolisk) is accepted and very helpful.

Seems pretty good. BTW, check the Psionic Rift section. The first time you say Psi Storm instead of Psi Rift.

Hehe, thanks. I also said castable by the Dark Archon, which is false. :)

I had to delete most of my programs off of the old computer, and will be emailing myself all the files I need. I'm getting the new computer in about 3 days, so expect the demo to be out shortly before this time next week, unless I get caught up on a major bug in the system.

Please note, the demo will not have any modifications other than the new units, which will lack sounds for the most part, though I can make some sounds for them if neccesary. The only problem with that is that they will have to be controlled by iscript, which kinda takes out some of the fun.

Do you still want the modified temple graphics? I'm also working on the battle.net layout too if you still want it.

Ok, I put in the temple graphic and a slightly fixed up title screen since the old one had some black areas around the edges.

My computer is back, along with most of my programs, so I have started work on more files in the custom, namely the Hellfire Dropship's 'Hellfire' Irradiation Cluster Bombs graphic, and I might make another one to replace the current 'borrowed' graphic that I would use(Halo Rockets).

Until the new MemGraft version is out, I won't be able to release a playable demo, but I will be able to get more stuff included in the demo(Hopefully :)).

Things to do:
Zerg - Everything Terran - All new portraits, ideas for new unit, ability/upgrade coding, iscript, and all StarGraft coding. Protoss - Ta'Anon graphics, all portraits, both new attack graphics, spell coding, StarGraft coding, iscript(except for Merge Templar), and getting the Hyperdrive Shuttle to not implode my computer. Other - Music replacement, menu replacement, etc.

Any help with portraits, Ta'Anon graphics, Psionic Rift set-up, and Terran unit ideas would be nice.

This sounds AWESOME! I know that this will take a lot of work. I for one would be willing to try it, even if it only works on SC v. 1.10.

Terran unit ideas...hmmm...*thinks* How about a siege ship of some sort? You could make it from Duke (in siege tank). It could be like a flying Siege Tank. I guess I could think of a name...I like to use a multi-blast EMP Shockwave sprite attack for my Siege Tanks, you could incorperate the same idea here. If you want to, that is. All you do is set the attack to be Halo (Spin) and make it so that the attack iscript part has multiple attack25's or attack26's (whichever you prefer, and assuming that you use IceCC). Just throughing out ideas.

If you want to wait for the new MemGraft, you're going to have to wait a long time and I mean a long time, since the creator has decided to be really lazy and not work on it. You can take a look at this thread if you like. http://forums.samods.org/index.php?showtopic=622

Oh and here's the font file to go along wth the title screen. You'll need it if you want the font on title screen to look correctly. I also lost my new Battle.net layouts :(, so I won't be able to give those to you.

Argh, sorry to hear that. I guess I'll need to brush up on my large-scale .bmp art. :)

Also, KT, all of my ideas are going to be as original as I can get them, other than the simple upgrades to units, which will still get unique graphics. Sorry, but that means no flying siege tank. ;)

SD, that font file doesn't seem to be a file, after I load up the 'map'...

Ah, I see......Do you still want me to try and throw out ideas? Well, lets see if I can't think of something.......err, how outrageous can it be? Like, a marine, or other infantry, that changes (via a technique like the siege tank, aka not a mutation.) into a vehicle of some sort, such as a hoverbike or small aircraft (or back into the infantry)?

I probably could make a shapeshifting unit, but anything that had multiple forms would require extra spaces that I am running out of fast.

And this will not be done quickly, especially since I am working on this by myself, and with my added attention span that is less than a gerbil's... :)

I'm taking any ideas for a new Terran unit, possibly using an existing weapon, but be sure to make it unique.

Well it would cause problems when it's cloaked by an arbiter. When a unit is cloaked the shvertpos(IceCC) or Shift graphic position # vertical units(ICE) opcode doesn't work.

If you ever done it with BSTRhino's Doom Dragoon custom, the Dragoon doesn't jump to attack close ranged units, when it's cloaked by an arbiter.
