View Full Version : WCIII Tie-in?

If you've played Warcraft III, beat the entire game and watched the credits thoroughly, you may have noticed something. In the little portrait window, two Starcraft units appeared...in 3d!!!! One was a hydralisk, and it looked awesome. Another was a marine, but there wasn't a close-up on his face. Could this be foreshadowing what might be another addition to the Starcraft series after Ghost?

I think blizzard really put that in as a joke. Have you ever been attacked by a flaming cube with a face on it? Also, the models of a marine, zergling, and hydralisk can all be found in warcraft III through a special editor, and they have their own little cinematic if you beat the campaign on hard (or something like that) in the original. A small 3-d starcraft battle, and then a sheep comes in and blows them all up.

There is also a orc firebat in the editor. So all up the war3 editor has

Wow that is pretty cool but I don't think that is how they will look when starcraft 2 is released.

I didn't say that was what they're gonna look like. I just said that maybe this could sorta spur on Blizzard to get Starcraft II out sooner. Ah well. Just a question for debate. ne1 here that agrees w/ me?

I hope you mean that the units don't look good...

I don't know why they didnt just put the marine sounds for the marine. They just say nothing.
