I didn't want to say anything about this until we had at least one film up--But my bestfriend (Darlene) and I got together and decided to create short films that promote the gospel but in an entertaining and professional way :D
Check out our home page!
Preacherchick Productions © (http://www.myspace.com/preacherchickproductions)
I created a little Commercial/Slide Show of our Cast & Crew :D
For some reason I always play the bad parts, lolz. It's funny though, I like it! :D
Keep on checking our home page out cuz we are actually gonna have our debut film out by next week at the latest--I'm waiting for Darlene to burn everything on DVD :P
Check it out and tell me what ya'llz think!

Seconded.
As to the site, the first thing I noticed was the color scheme in the background. I just really didn't like that at all, but that's just my opinion. I'm more of a straight line than a round line person, when it comes to art.

Is it just me, or does it irritate anyone else when someone uses their religious or political beliefs as their source of identity? You know what I mean, when people seperate themselves from mainstream society by playing up one particular aspect about their belief system. Don't get me wrong, if you want to be a democrat, christian, or whatever, that's fine with me, but does that really have to become your sole defining characteristic?

If you only have one defining characteristic, you have to use it as your source of identity.

IMO, if you have only one defining characteristic, it's probably because you have been relying on that one characteristic as your identity for way too long, and it's time to expand your horizons.

Bleh, it's not going to make me any friends for saying so, but doesn't every aspect of your presence here revolve around Behavior Analysis?
Your sig, signed avatar, and threads in the IR are typically all involving B.A. in one form or another. You even started your own forum. And of course, the most recent post in the IR flies in the face of my entire thesis, probably pwning me. But I'm a stupid shit that has to say whatever comes to mind no matter the consequence. Sigh.

I looked at the thread title and just said "Dear God"
I think my identity stands out pretty good for my liking. And PChicky, good job on this, I'm not one for religion or anything... kind of a life learned lesson... but you and your friend did a good job with this.
People, get back on topic... this kind of discussion is for the Post Yourself topic found in the Members Lounge. Thanks.
And Eggs... why did you even post that? What relevance did it have on this topic? Share your emotion and thoughts, not just one of the two.

Maybe you should apply for a mod position, Snot. You certainly think you're qualified. It's good that you're observing rules and etiquette nicely in ONE thread, even if you're just as guilty as anybody else in just about every other thread.
PC if you were serious about this you wouldn't be using... myspace to do it.
Thought it would actually be cool, but then I saw it was on myspace =/

Yeah, get a domain and some hosting to make it seem more legit. People are more likely to take you seriously if it's "PCcrazyvideos.com" instead of "myspace.com/PCcrazyvids".

The JC Rap one was meh, it's not because it was bad, it was because the quality was so off, I could barely make out what you said and the sound syncing was WAY off.
The Productions Commercial was much better; the music fits the movie well enough and the editing was pretty good.

Christianity basically isn't a religion but a relationship with God. Its actually a lifestyle.
Protosschick is so full of God in her life that she can't help but share it, thats the kind of person she is.
Sure it can irritate you, there are only few Christians on one side of the world that does that.

PC if you actually need some space, I could host you. I've got this second hosting plan, basically like 20gigs of space, and a terrabyte of bandwidth that I'm not really using atm.
If you wanted you could register your own domain, or I could give you space @ www.kupatrix.com/PreacherChick/ or some such.
Heh. Seems like your having fun though =P

If ya'llz read my blog on "JC Rap"--You'll understand that that little thing was just because Darlene and I were hyper, lolz :P
As for the other video's--Trust me, they are waaaaaaaaaaaaay better :P When you see our debut film "Modern Day Mary Magdalene"--Omg ya'llz are gonna BUST UP with laughter! Seriously :P
I played the role of the chick who turns her life aorund, lolz :P Well I gotta jam to church--I'll comment more later...
Anyone else feel the Commercial is just an excuse to show pictures of every person Grace has ever known?

Ya'll are haters :P And I am not wierd--Just different! lolz :P If you like something a lot, you'll obviously throw yourself into it. If I wanna make movies like this, then why make fun of me? At least I am doing something about what I am passionate about--At least I am trying to make a difference.
You peeps just sit at your comp and complain--Why not go and DO something about it instead of make fun of others who actually do? I am changing the world one small step at a time, whether you peeps realize it or not :D

Thanks a bunch Neo! :D You rock :P I was actually gonna register my own domain so maybe later you and I could talk and we could work something out!
Oh and about the rap--Yeah we got made fun of for it (Cuz it was stupid in a funny way ;)) But I don't care! I'm having fun! :D At my church, Darlene and I are both known as the girls who know how to have fun but in a clean way :P We are the big goofs, lolz.

Yup its not a problem. And I can do domains to. Like -- Link just registered his domain, and once he gets more info on it, he can point it to my hosting, and I can host him, like I have been doing (for free =P).
And especially now that I have a year with this new hosting place, I want to see just what exactly it can handle, so Link provides the (possibly streaming) audio, and then you and preacherchick productions can provide some streaming videos XD
Hehe.

Excuse me? Isn't that an African-American term? "Don't be a playa hater" or somesuch? What exactly am I hating, here?
At least I am doing something about what I am passionate about
An argument most serial killers and rapists would echo with earnest.
--At least I am trying to make a difference.
Not all "differences" are good. *shrug* For example, Bush is certainly making a "difference". *ahem*
You peeps just sit at your comp and complain--Why not go and DO something about it instead of make fun of others who actually do?
Yes, my entire day consists of sitting here refreshing WarBoards constantly, waiting for you to post so I can be the first to diss on yallz lol.
I am changing the world one small step at a time, whether you peeps realize it or not :D
Hitler did that too.
Just out of curiosity, are you this full-on with your religion in real life? All indications point to yes. If so, then how many non-Christian friends do you have? Just wondering.
Protosschick99
05-04-2006, 1:04 PM
lolz Schwitzer :P Your post made me smile :D
Anywayz--As for how many non-Christian friends I have--The majority is here with you guys ;)
In real life--Let's see......*Begins counting in head....*
Ya know.....There is Criss (My homie from Taco Bell) and then there is my manager Lucy and her whole family. That's it. I am very picky about my friends in real life because I know that friends can bring you down or bring you up. I want friends who speak positive words into my life, who actually encourage me and not tear me down, who support me in my dreams, are happy when I get blessed--Not jealous.
To me, that is a friend.
Anywayz, PC Productions is taking off fast, and ppl at my church love it so far :D We've gotten a lot of compliments and ppl keep on asking us when we're gonna record again.
Also keep in mind--All of our movies are pretty much ad-libbed :D Darlene and I come up with stuff right on the spot. Sometimes she'll go in a totally different direction than I thought she would and then I gotta act like I meant to do what she intended, lolz--But it's cool cuz we play it off and ppl actually think we wrote it out but we didn't ;)
Anywayz, I will keep you all informed about our upcoming video's!
Here are a few that are coming out:
"Fine Art with Sister Getrudes Marisol Pamphila la Senora de la Tijuana" (This is a spoof off of Sister Wendy, lolz :P)
"Beauty From Pain..." (Re-inactment of Chris and I going our separate ways. This one is gonna be hard emotionally, but Chris has agreed to do it :P)
"Pranks with Darlene & Gracie" (That should be OBVIOUS, lolz.)
And that's all I'll reveal for now. So keep on checking back here! Luv you guys!

I agree, most of us are haters; we hate religious patronizing. And no, you aren't weird, but no you aren't different. There are millions of fundamentalist raving lunatics in the US, you aren't unique in any stretch of the word. If you want to make movies like that, we make fun of you because we want to make fun of movies like that. Why ask stupid questions?
Regardless, the "difference" that you're trying to make isn't the "difference" I'd like to see. It'd be nice if you taught unconditional love like you think you do, but "turn over your mortal and immortal lives over to jesus or he'll burn you in hell for eternity" is one hell of a condition. But in the meantime, everybody that was born into a different culture with a different religion is immediately excluded and threatened by your religious posturing.
Congratulations on propegating yet another elitest clique.

I'm pretty sure I heard the name "West Side" spoken and a gang sign flashed in the rap video. As far as I'm aware, the West Side sign is not a W made of the index, middle, and ring fingers, but a W made of all four fingers with the middle finger twisted around the ring finger.

@ GA: You know, I agree with you. Where is the love? I am not perfect, I know that. And I know that I haven't exactly been exercising unconditional love as of late--And the Lord has brought that to my attention more than once.
I'm not gonna lie and try to hide or act like I don't know what you're talking about. Because I am woman enough to take responsibility for my actions. So I wanna say thank you GA for bringing this up :) God has been trying to get my attention on the basics of Christianity for a while now. Unconditional love is the main one....
Wow I'm surprised I'm saying this openly to you all, especially here :)
Anywayz GA--I promise you'll see a change in me starting now :) *Hugz*

Sigh.I thought someone might mention this. While it is true that I am greatly interested in behavior analysis, the difference is that I don't pretend that it is all that I am. Perhaps may preference for the Intellectual Roundtable and the very behavior analytic posts I make therein are an inflation of this aspect of my character. As for the website, I actually made it for our the student association that I'm V.P. of at Utah State. Apart from behavior analysis, I'm also very interested in philosophy, art, music, and outdoor recreation. Additionally, unlike some individuals, not *every* post I make is somehow related to this one aspect of my personality. For instance, I don't go around posting threads entitled "BehaviorBoy Enterprises" or insert phrases like "thank you B. F. Skinner!" into my replies.
I don't know, you're probably right that I ought to tone it down, but I think I'm generally better than others. Of course, don't we all?
