On the US version of WC3, (I don't know if it's the same with the French version), when you finish the Night Elf campaign, you can see a teaser of SC2!


Of course, it's all in the WC3 engine. I mean, you can put marines and hydras and lings in custom maps, right?

The bit at the end of war3 that u unlock after you beet it on hard is not a teaser its just a small battle useing the war 3 engine , i think it was put in as some fun

like the cheat 'there is no cow level' that was put into starcraft as the cheat to go to the next level as proff that diablo 1 had no secret cow level.


As for the screen shot its a movie from a map for warcraft3 which can be found at http://maps.worldofwar.net

It was not made by blizzard and has nothing to do with sc2 its just a map some one made dont get ya hopes up.

How come people keep doing this. They keep confusing mods or this thing with the actual SC2. THERE IS NO SC2 YET, IT IS NOT IN DEVELOPMENT, IT IS NOT MADE, ALL OF THOSE SCREENSCHOTS ARE NOT REALLY SC2! Jeez, just annoys me that people are fooled so easily.

Read this and remember it:

Everyone will know when SC2 is being made. Blizzard would not be quiet about it. They have said on their site that it is NOT BEING MADE currently. They have plans to go back to it, but they are not working on it now.

That's naive. It'd be foolish to think Starcraft 2 isn't at least started or well underway right now, given the time and demand Blizzard has had to make it since Broodwar (a good 6 years). I wouldn't blame them for spending as long as they have to perfect it, or else waiting until the time is right to announce it. Game companies seem to do that a lot, nowdays.

I don't think they would tell us. If there are two years of work left, why would they stir interest too early so that it died down before the game released? I think there may be some information on the SC: Ghost release, maybe a trailer or something if we're really lucky. In my mind, that would be a perfect reason for the delays for the SC: Ghost game, as it is quite late.

that doesn't mean there is no starcraft2...just that the image is not sc2 if you go to ghost faq in the blizzard web site it states that they will come out with sc2(under question: is this sc2?).:smirk:

ok, now hear this SS-MistressOfKage is correct it is one of the cinematics at the end of the game on both normal and hard the only place that there is a difference on the difficulty you beat it on is in the credits where all those units run around if beaten on hard hydralisks will eventually attack those units. the scene at the end credits that this is at however is a tease of starcraft with a twist that that scene there includes the space orcs which means that it is openning the scene which continues to hydralisks attacking the marines, marines win, lings attack the marines, marines win, a sheep comes up to the marines and blows up killing the marines.

I personally liked the C&CGenerals mod better...it was more like what I would expect for SC2.

Hrm. Blizzard has it's hands full with making a few new games most likely,fixing their ladder system and getting anti-cheating programs into the battle net program. but that is just a guess, because that is the problem that makes it no fun to play craft anymore. =) (well that and bsers...but if you act calm most the time they get poed and leave.)

This years e3 expo stated that there is a new Warhammer 40k game comming out for the PC.. and thats a pic from it..

I play Warhammer 40k and have found out the the Space Marines and the Terrains are much alike.. and so are the Tyranids vs. the Zerg..

the other race in the pic are Chaos Space Marines (the green)...

That is a hoax, they are hidden models in warcraft 3, the green soldiers are called "Chaos Space Orcs" and as you guessed it the other ones are Terran Marines

Dark_ViperDon't you know what the terrain of Warcraft III looks like? It's not warhammer 40k. The green are just orcs with flamethrowers and marines are just marines 3-D style. Plus, to prove i'm not wrong, there is also a zergling, a hydralisk, and this unit called Sammycube. It's a burning black cube which in each face has a face of a person on it, and it also shoots fire. There. That's the REAL truth ;).
