I last posted about this a few months ago. It appears that they may have tweaked the front end as it seems to look much more traditional than the last time I saw this prototype. Maybe it's just growing on me.

I'm really conflicted now. I was leaning towards the upcoming Dodge Challenger, but this car is looking pretty damn sweet. I may have to wait.

What do you think?

I think I found what will replace my Jeep... that, or a Charger/Challenger.

The console is wicked. Kinda looks like a mustang though. Got a price/specs at all? I'm lazy to click the link ;)

Specs: Way fast and super cool
Price: Way more than I can afford, but I'll likely spend the money anyway.

:D

I think it's too new to have specs yet, but they're talking about a small block V-8 on a GTO rear-wheel drive frame, which sounds interesting.

Wow, that car looks sweet. I saw the earlier prototype and wasn't that impressed. I'm liking this one a lot better.

Haha, so true. Tinkering with my old '81 Volkswagon was pretty straightforward. My current '92 legacy is also pretty straightforward, but damn, these new cars are too much.

Ahh, your money's being put too good use... like a future and good education for your kids diapers.

o.O ohhhh. I want one! I'm guessing about $45,000 for it (Being as the C6 is around $56,000-$60,000 when I last checked) Awsome car though.

I had no idea GM still had enough money to spend on designing new cars....

Of course, with a company their size, money isn't required for anything so long as the books balance at the end of the day.

Considering the overall picture, can they afford not to design a new car?
The design team that developed the GTO should be drawn and quartered. They had an opportunity to create a masterpiece and instead they designed a cookie cutter with a big engine. Whoop dee doo.

Dodge and now Ford have finally realized that you can't force feed the public the same old crap every year. We yearn for style, even if it is rehashed from 30 years ago.
