I just found out yesterday, that someone took a quarter stick of dynamite and blew up the bathroom at my college right next door to my class. But get this....

My computer class is ending at about 9:00 in the morning, and everyone is already leaving out the door when BOOM!!

They hear a huge boom, the whole floor is shaking, and they see smoke, tile, water, and everything come bursting out of the bathroom. As the ppl from my class go to the bathroom to see if anyone was inside, this kid comes out holding his head.

One of my classmates goes to him and says, "Hey are you okay??" He shakes his head and says, "Yeah I'm fine, My ears are ringing though and I got a little wet." He says as he disappears through the crowd.

Now, I have a question-Why the heck are you gonna light a stick of dynamite and STAY IN THE SAME ROOM??? Talk about stupid :P

I doubt he would intentionally remain in the same room. Incidentally, a quarter stick of dynamite would have likely killed anyone in that room. It's more likely he set off an M-80 or some other firecracker.

I'm fairly certain you could sneak an entire bundle of dynamite into a campus. You could also sneak it into the capitol building of nearly every state in the union. There's a lot more freedom in America than most people realize--and you & your classmates should be slapped silly for letting him walk off.

Because they were type of person who went to school with the intention of blowing up the bathroom!! When you have that, staying in the same room as well doesn't seem as stupid. Why would they do that? He/she must be insane.

It's semantics really. A "quarter stick" is slang for an M-80, but PC said a "quarter stick of dynamite" which is a completely different explosive. M-80's use flash powder, dynamite uses nitroglycerin.

Guard dogs? METAL DETECTORS???? Ok what the hell is going on in america. In my country they check your ID if you're even a student at the school once a year, and we get notified when that date is. I could calmly walk in with a fully loaded machine gun, 20 grenades and a lot of dynamite and take oer the whole school and noody would even give a damn. Yeah, see what happens, we're poor so we have a reason not to commit suicide, while the US have too high money rates which makes everybody drink more alcohol, get more drugs and commt more suicide. My point is - POVERTY RULES!

My college is a community college. Mt. San Antonio College (http://www.mtsac.edu) :)

Yes we are required to show our ID's but Mt. SAC isn't this rich prep private school where they actually make students walk through metal detector's, flash their ID's, and get their bags sniffed by drug dogs and have security 24/7--Lord knows most schools need that :(

In a year and a half, I will be transferring to Cal State Fullerton, w00t I'm excited! :D

You know what's really sad too? There have been soo many incidents at Mt. SAC involving violence that it's sad. One girl got stabbed to death by her ex bf over at the clock tower :( Another chick got raped--It sucks.

I go to a community college and we never have violence. They don't ever check our ID's either. Maybe because it's in rural TX, and we're all good people :P

Yeah, that's probably it. Lol. I'm going to start community college in the fall I think, though my brother says if I do that, when I want to go to a normal school, I shouldn't transfer, I should just go in as a freshman, so I don't lose all my scholarship opportunities.
