i have Dial Up. I knowm i know, but it and warcraft are playable. Anyway, i connect to the internet (AOL) and try to get into SC, but it disconnects me, and it worked before. Help?

Maybe its because the configurations in AOL, I got AOL once. Thats y we say AOL is Almost Online.

If you don't have anything of relevant to add, then don't even post, 'kay? :smirk:

Let me presume this thing out... you use AOL, right? There fore you must IE as well. And as you know IE is full of liabillities with it's default config', so you have two choices by my booklet:
a) Tinker with IE settings to higher levels of security and to prevent the sleaze fest it generally endorses, even if behind the curtains. :P And I may suggest you to add these apps on your PC to increase your 'Net security levels (http://www.warboards.org/showthread.php?t=4133) too?
b) The easy way out and the one I use, change browser to another free and viable safe option. (Mine is FF, btw.) ;)

Possibly parental controls, mine were active once and i couldent connect to Battle.Net.

FYI, i do have Warcraft 3: TFT. However, this problem only arises at my moms's house (where starcraft is). At my dads (where WCIII is) everything works perfect... exept for that i have dial up, but i get by fairly lagless. It is only DL times that hinder me.

What is confusing me is that it worked before. Then it came to that i would drop out of every game. Now i cant even play Starcraft. I tried on Friday, but it was very slow and when i tried to start a game, it froze.
