A 23-year old man was found wedged naked in his chimney near San Francisco yesterday. Apparently he had forgotten his keys, and thought that if he took all his clothes off, he would slide down the chimney more easily.

Seconded. Nice one, though. I'd never get my ass in a chimney, though. Even back in HS when I weight like 140-150 lbs and was very skinny, hell no. Too many horror stories and way too much danger of snapping your freaking neck or something. Chimney sweep = no thx.

And by the way, soot causes testicular cancer; frequent problem of chimney sweeps. So when you see those guys dancing on Merry Poppins, you can pretty much rest assured that in 20 years they died half the man they once were when they got their balls lopped off to save them.

My google homepage features 3 of Reuter's Oddly Enough news articles every day. I love it so much.

It's okay, with dance moves like that, you can almost be assured that they won't be using them. ;)

IMO its ironic that the only news articles posted on the Members Lounge section are of people being stupid. Seriously! :smirk: :)

Well, if you want to actually post/read something serious, do it in IR. Otherwise, I've seen semi-serious postings in ML from time to time, but yeah, mostly it is just ridiculous humor.

As for the article: We don't get chimney's down here in FL (horrible liability with hurricanes), but even when I lived in Canada and did, it was almost always easier to get in through a window :). Ladders + open windows FTW.

What a crazy, that would've been great to see him explain though "yeah, so I got naked 'cause like skin is a better lubricant then clothes right? So I just sorta, y'know, jumped in like I think Santa would..."
