My Little Brother Found Us!! (MySpace ROCKS!)

I dunno if I have mentioned this before, but I actually have a half brother named Justin who got separated from us back when he was 2.

Here's what happened, Donna (Justin's mom) told my dad that he needed to marry her because of Justin. My dad was like, "I DO NOT need to marry you because we have a son." So she threatened to take Justin away and never bring him back. My dad said he had no problem paying child support and being there for him. Donna was like, "I don't want Justin seeing you with another woman in your life! The only woman I want him seeing you with is me!"

My dad told her he'd get a lawyer if she ran off with him--Well guess what? She literally disappeared off the face of the earth. We never saw her or him for many many moons, lolz.

Over the years we have discussed Justin, I've prayed for him, praying that we would be reunited one day again, my dad thinks about him EVERY SINGLE DAY--And we've asked around about him but no one will tell us anything >.<

Finally, Sunday morning, as I am putting on my make-up for church, I hear my brother Eddie get on his cell phone. He is calling my dad.

"Hey dad, I just got this message from some lady who knows Justin. They want us to write them back. I didn't want to write anything without telling you first. So call me back. Love you, bye."

I was like, "Justin?!?"

So I go over to our computer and sure enough, it's an e-mail on MySpace from some lady who knows Justin. She asked Eddie my brother if his dad's name is Ed because if so, our little brother Justin is looking for us. She told us to e-mail her back--I've written a letter out, but my dad told me to be careful with what I write.

I wrote this 3 paragraph letter, but my dad was like, "No....Don't send it. I want to write something." So me, knowing myself, am getting impatient cuz I wanna talk to my little long lost brother!! :D lolz :P

Anywayz, I am soo excited about this, I can't wait to meet him!! And the lady that sent us something about him lives in Covina which is like, down the street from where I live. Cuz I live on the edge of San Dimas, right next to Covina :D

Well just thought I'd share!! I'm gonna meet my little brother soon! w00t!

But please, be careful. Your father is right to caution you. It sounds like his mother (justin's) is one of those unstable people you hear about often -- or at least she used to be.

Oh yeah, I have cousins in America, loads of um, one of my greatgrandfathers, a famous bulgarian painter went there, lived and died, I have cousins, never actually contacted them, but I have some for sure. Also I have cousins in Italy, Macedonia, Russia and some in Chroatia. o, yeah finding stuff isn't that hard :)

And yeah about being careful--I'm praying in Jesus Name that Donna won't get all crazy and start demanding child support like some blood sucking bug >.< Where they try to suck all they can outta you >.<

My dad has no problem with it, but we're praying that he won't get taken advantage of. Cuz that happened to my mom and step-dad with my step-dad's ex wife. She went totally crazy and got them to pay $1,900 a month for ONE kid. You do not need that much for one kid when you have a good job and whatnot. Guess where that money was going? Drugs. My step-dad's ex wife is a druggie and I feel bad for her :(

Anywayz, okay that is waaay off topic.....I just wanna approach this thing carefully, and do the right thing. We wanna do the right thing. My dad said if Justin hasn't heard the truth, he'll probably be resentful about my dad. Justin is 14 now, gonna be 15 in June, so we're grateful that he has found us so early in his life--Cuz we wanna be a part of it! :D

Okay time for an update!

Alrighty, my dad and little brother sent the letter on through, and we got a response the same day--But not by Justin--It was Justin's cousin.

But here's the thing--We have reason to believe that our message didn't even get to Justin because it was that chick that responded back. We're trying to get around all the middle ppl and go directly to Justin but with the way things are going it is kinda hard :(

So I talked to my dad today and told him that I know a lady from our church who is a private investigator and she can probably help us out. So my dad agreed to it and I sent her a e-mail today (Cuz she's my homie and she's also involved in PCP with me :)) telling her my situation to see how much it would cost.

So...Yup--That's where we are at right now.

I found my brother directly!! :D

He contacted my younger brother Eddie and asked about me and my mom--Which was kinda odd :P Cuz he never knew my mom....But anywayz--I found him on MySpace and omg--I saw his picture--He looks soooooo much like my dad!!

I sent him a letter today awaiting his response. It turns out he lives only 20 minutes away from me!! w00t Praise God! I get to see my long lost little brother Justin! :D

Thats cool PC, but just be somewhat cautious. I might be a bit paranoid because of other stuff but having to go through the middle man/girl isn't usually a good sign, so I'd suggst getting a DNA test when you do meet him just incase this is some sort of weird scheme.
