Backstage

I'm sure everyone has heard of the Backstage Channel. I was curious as to how many wins or battles it took to get into it. From what I've heard it was 5000 wins but I'm not quite sure.

same with Ahzz, never heard of it, although Im a UMS gamer, not a melee freak(5k wins? thats what 5+ years of playing ?)

It's definitely not a rumor. Type it into channles some time and you'll find that you're not allowed into. Also, if you ever installed the S.C. Spawn off the disk (you know, that thing you can install on a friends computer that lets them play the demo) and go online the first channel listed is Backstage. Although, sadly, you're not allowed into it.

It's existence is not in question. What is in question is how exactly you get into it. It's either a lot of games or a lot of wins. Anyone know any info?

O u mean those channels with "clan" at first. If u cant join a channel named "clan [insert name here]" then its just normal. If u cant join some other channels and it says "this channel is restricted" then u might just got banned from it or something.

Well, channels on servers in us east or west don't necessarily mean you got banned, they're just not availible or smthing. I never understood that really, cuz I play in euro anyway.
Hmm.. Dunno if it's really true, I'll ask a guy who I know who has over 8000 games and 7000 wins to check it out. (winbotted).

Thank you Alexisonfire for steering this back on topic. Listen, IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CLANS! I AM POSITIVE IT IS A BLIZZARD CHANNEL BECAUSE IT WAS TOP OF THE LIST ON THE SPAWN ALONG WITH THE USUAL RIFRAFF BLIZARD CHANNELS (Zerg Strategy and whatnot). IT IS NOT A RUMOR. I AM POSITIVE. I just want to know how to get in. I recently found someone with 4000 wins and 3000 losses and asked if he could get in. He couldn't. So I'm thinking it really has to be 5000 wins. None of you guys know any veterans or anything?

I have never heard of any such channel, but I have also never heard of Alex posting a useful comment either so :P. It may exist or it may be a rumor who knows.

Backstage is a Blizzard-Only channel, no one is allowed in as far as I know.

Consider it an 'employee-only' channel. I believe sometimes they used it for E3 like expos and stuff, but who knows.

At any right, its impossible to get into it (unless you are directly related to blizzard or some such).
