Hmm, I think I know the problem. I'm pretty sure he is French and hasn't learned too much English yet, or is using a French to English program.

AXELLRAFF is French, I have known him for quite some time from StarCraft.org. Would you please leave him alone?

I didn't realize I was doing anything to him... I knew that he had to be French and was just wondering whether he was learning English or just using a program to convert. Hopefully learning, because having two languages under your belt is very good. Sorry if I did anything.

Axel, I think I get what you are saying. Are you asking how to put pictures into your signature? What you have to do to do that is to first find an image hosting site. I suggest www.yoxio.com (http://www.yoxio.com/). Create a new account, upload your image, then get the site where the picture is at. Then go to user CP, select 'edit signature', then click the picture with the mountain on it. Paste the site there, and click enter. Your signature should pop up.

If that isn't what you were asking, try to rephrase it a bit more so I might understand it a bit better.

If you just wanted to have your address as a word, so that if you click on the word, it goes to the site, then paste the site, select it all, then retype the word you want.

For example. Take www.hotmail.com (http://www.hotmail.com). That link will take you to hotmail. However, if you write www.hotmail.com (http://www.hotmail.com), then select the greyed letters, you can retype the address so that the link is a word. Like this: This leads to hotmail (http://www.hotmail.com).

To answer the original poster's question, here is how you create a short link:

[ url=http://www.starcraft.org/] words to link [/url]

It should be "[url=" not "[ url=", but if I type it that way, it will make a link instead of showing you how ... :)

If he doesn't understand Edgewize's strange vB coding, it's:

Spambot's porn site (http://www.spambotpornsite.com/x42bn6/god)

Rats, why does vB3 fix EVERYTHING?

Quote my post then, OK?

The point is, that the super-advanced editor here doesn't show any raw code by default.

Use this code (without the space in the url tag):
[ url=http://www.starcraft.org/scums/maps.asp?mode=results&author=AXELLRAFF&exactAuthor=on&field=id&sort=desc!]MAPS[/url]

I think I see why. Try taking the '!' out of his code. And make sure you paste it directly, not pressing any buttons, just copying and pasting.

If that isn't it, make sure you are taking the spaces (' ') out of the code.

ok I know what you mean. It is on my signature too. Right under my picture of master chief.

This is what you want: MAPS (http://www.starcraft.org/scums/maps.asp?mode=results&author=AXELLRAFF&exactAuthor=on&field=id&sort=desc)

So if you click on "MAPS" it will take you to your page. Ok here is the code:

[ url=http://www.starcraft.org/scums/maps.asp?mode=results&author=AXELLRAFF&exactAuthor=on&field=id&sort=desc]MAPS[/url]

Now all you need to do is change the part I bolded. Instead of it being [ url make it [url
That means you have to take out the space in front of the "Url" part and behind the "["

Hope that helps. That might be a little confusing so if you don't get it then the only way is to ask an administrator or moderator to put the code into your signature.

Or just go to the siggy editor, type "MAPS", click the 'hyperlink' button when you highlight the "MAPS", and put the URL there. You got a link then.
