starcraft 3d

Errr, it's a mod, not necessarily "illegal" as you've put it.
The modders who've made that didn't make it for profit did they, and the dl is free

If this mod is for WC3, then it should be in the WC3 thread, not SC >_>

Hey I wanted to play these maps, but it says I don't have enough memory to process the command. But I have enough memory, and when I click on the map to open it in the mpa editor, and it says the advanced triggers are not in the database. Ca nanyone help.

Also, this should be in the Starcraft section seeing as most Starcraft players want to play it.

But it's made for WC3, what use would that bring to an SC player that doesn't have WC3?

Err, why are you trying to open up the maps in the WE?
Go to the WC forum, and dl one of the advanced map editors from the sticky thread if you haven't done so

I did, but nothing changed I still can't play them.

DarthVadre, welcome on board. And if you're willing to know about more projects that will enhance SC-BW into a 3D game, please check this - Project Revolution (http://www.wc3campaigns.net/revolution/). ;) The SC community will have a back boom after this modification gets done, if ever accomplished.

At Hazreihel: Which editor of those you did dl'ed? I know for assurance (read, felt it in my own skin :P) that sometimes the UMSWE app does some weird, 'kinky' stuff to maps after program crashes. Thus I suggest that you try out the WE Unlimited. :)
And btw, do you have WC3-TFT updated? I know that the WE took some improving revamps at some point on the patches scale (1.17, if remembering right).

Edit add: Also I just happen to agree with Holo' on this one, since this is a WC3 mod' map, imo, it should stick under the WC3 sections. :smirk:

I got the new update, and now it owrks and its awsome. ^_^
Finally It works, but I still can't make it open in WC3:CE, but I don't care I can still play it. ^_^

See, I suspected such. ;) And reflecting better upon it, perhaps the map is protected which explains the inabillity to open it in WE or other editors. :P

I don't think that explains that, because when I try to open it it says: Advtriggers: not in data base.

Wait I just remebered in his site it says he never protects his mpas cause the nhe can show off to other people what he did, or something like that.

That "advtriggers" deal must mean that he made the map's triggering with advanced JASS (WC3-TFT programming language if not mistaken) and perhaps what he coded in'em can't be seen in the casual editor. :confused:

Thats it and I unprotected it and now I get a bunch of little squares saying trigger function does not exist in data base. Man all I wanted to do is edit the playing field to make it look nicer. ^-^:

I still think that it it meant for the game engine not having anymore space to process your request. Therefore (and most likely), if you can play the map wiht the game but not edit it, the map is protected. :)

And just for the record that not enough memory thingy already occured to me in the past when trying to make a Naga hero submerge with a weird way in mind (according to WE engine :P).

By opening your WC3-TFT.exe's, hitting the "single players" n' "custom games" buttons, then selecting the map and playing it? :rolleyes:
We said "protected", not screwed beyond recovery. ;)

um, what!?!? all i see is aps then scenario then 2 other maps, srry im new to warcraft and i got a cd key by my friend cause i depratley wanted to play and i can't even play online cause myy cd key said it was disabled or something

Simple, Zerg_Eater. You can't. The way you've putted it, it looks that you don't have an original CD-Key to go to B.Net and adding to that it even seems to be an illegal rip off copy (as in, cracked) because you've stated that you can only see two maps or are those two the custom maps the game came with? :o
