Free Home Page for StarCraft Forum Users only (Please don't move thread)

I personally feel like too many people here at the StarCraft Forums have been way too nice to me, so I feel I have to give something back. I want to create a free personalized home page for anyone who wants one. However, these home pages will be usable to only the users of your computer, not like broadcasted over the internet or anything. Of course there are limitations. What I can do is:

Create Links to just about any website in existence(can make it open in new window or same)
Headers and subtitles
Make the Broswer Title display any text
insert images
make images links
create e-mail links that will run Microsoft Outlook and a new message to a person
insert music into the page
Basically, that's it. I know it's limited, but it makes navigating the web a lot easier with links to all your frequently visited sites. All you do is click twice(on Home and then the link) and you're right where you need to be.
All home pages I create will follow some guidelines:

Links to Google, StarCraft.org Home, (Maps and Mods on request), and StarCraft Debriefing room will all be included
Go to Tools, Internet Options, and enter the path to the page for your home page(i.e. if it's on your desktop the path is file:///C:/WINDOWS/Desktop/ <----insert the filename here. This is only for Windows users, for Macs place the file on your desktop then open that to start your browser.If you want one, leave the following specs here; I will e-mail/PM it to you:

Links and what you want the link to appear as i.e. Google
Links to any image you want and whether it is going to be the background or a link
The color of the background
the title the broswer displays
any e-mail addresses
the desired filename i.e. Homepage.htmlThat's all I can think of now.
the URL of the music. It would work better if it were on the internet, BUT you can happen to have it in your hard drive and it would still work; it's just I can't test it.
Updates like adding new links or images are free, but I'd prefer you e-mail the .html file to me.

I have now learned how to do something else in HTML: Embed music into a page, meaning you can play music from the web page with Windows Media Player. (Now the bookmark page has MUSIC!)All I need to know for this is the URL of the music, and whether or not you want it to play as soon as you get onto the page(look at the re-edited first post)

Well, what it means is what the browser has in it's title bar. Right now, it should show "Free Home Page for StarCraft Forum Users only (Please don't move thread) - WarBoards - Microsoft Internet Explorer"
I can customize all the text except the " - Microsoft internet Explorer"
I have it all done, just double click on it for internet, or go to Tools, Internet Options, and enter "file:///C:/Windows/Desktop/Web_Homepage.html" as your home page. It's that easy:)

sonds like your preatty expirienced with the webpage desing but everything you just said i can do myself for fre plus i can have up to 100 pages 500 photos 50 members a message board insert games links and pop up links and if i really wanted to i could sell merchandice on it ... not to be rude but what other than the stuff i said deos your website provide

Can you read the 1st post? It's always updated according to my current skill. I can do pop-up links too. And it's not "my website" it's customized to whoever wants it.

Thanks for the web site, but I think I gave you the wrong link. Here www.inuyashajourney.com =Inuyasha journey. There was two http://'s , but the rest work.

And I'm still working on a good background image. Thanks, I couldn't have done this...I always end up crashing my comp lol.

But that's easily doable. :D You can remove the default title or instead customize it.

You just have to dl' from here (http://www.warboards.org/showthread.php?t=4133) one of these two, Hi-Jak This or Spybot. Although for customization power, I'd advise ya to go for the later. After dl' just tell me/us which one you picked for me to provide extra help, since both are apps that can heavily mix with Windows inner and usually out of reach tweaks. ;)
(As in, if you don't know what you're doin' it can cause serious OS snags.)

Aslo I can't hear the music it says I need a plug-in but I looked and I have all the plugins. Do you know what happened?

what operating system are you on? If you have Windows, then Windows Media Player should play it, it worked fine on mine.

And no, I couldn't click on it then copy the link, it opened WMP.

Oh, yes I'm on Windows, so I can't fined out why it won't work. Well I guess i don't have to have the music, I can just delete it. Thanks for doing the rest of it. :)

np. BUT, if you can, check for updates on WMP, and do that.
