Game crashing...

I insert the BW cd in the drive and run StarCraft, i descide to wach the Expansion intro.. and when the scen in the BC starts the video stalls and in few seconds the game crashes completely. The same happens when i play the "starxintr.smk" with smacker tools - the ptogram crashes! All my other videos play normaly! Its like the file is incomplete (it's 76 774 KB):(
Whats the problem?! (preinstalling the game does not work)

Solution: Get a new CD. If you don't have one in the first place, then if you're still having errors, you can contact blizzard tech support :P

Exactly, maybe the "p*rated c*py" isnt a complete copy of the original disk and/or there was an error during copying leading to the corruption of the disk's cinematic's databases.

EvilEmpire, пиче, просто отиди на дата.бг и си изтегли старкафт.исо и броодвар.исо оттам, изтегли си Даемон Тоолс, пусни си от там и готово. Така все едно си имаш 2та диска, инсталираш си ги с там каквито кодове имаш, оригинални или не, изтегляш последния пач, шибваш го и не бива ти праят проблеми. Ако тогава пак имаш проблеми виж дали не е от некакви кодеци, или някаква програма може да ти прави проблеми. Друго като цяло не ми хрумва засега :)

Bulgarian to English Translated (yeah this dude's a Bulgarian, like me, WE ARE COMING...) : EvilEmpire, dude, just go to * bulgarian site for downloading free stuff not mentioning it * and download starcraft.iso and broodwar.iso, download Daemon Tools, load the image files, install with the codes you have, be they original or nay, install latest patch and load the Broodwar Image in the fake CD created by daemon tools, that should fix stuff, if not look for codecs or if any programs are affecting your video stuff, if that's the case shut down all programs before using SC.

Hawthorne, from what I got of your translation, you told him to download the iso's of the CDs and use daemon tools to run a virtual CD. Warboards doesn't allow the posting of any website that hosts content like that as it is illegal. If I misunderstood anything, please correct me, as I can always undelete the post.

I mentioned the site in bulgarian only, in english not, the site is accessible fromn Bulgaria only, you have to pay a monthly fee to even download something from the site. A legal fee is paid for every file that is downloaded to it's rightful copyright owner. Please undelete and sorry for the disunderstanding.
