Oh my God. I'm like an excited school girl. But I don't care! Command and Conquer 3 is officially announced! Holy crap!

PC Gamer recently had an article on it. I can't wait till it comes out here in the UK. Oh my god, this is so fucking amazing!

as for command & conquer, I liked the story but never could really get into the game
kane was cool though :) and Oxanna in tiberian sun was badass :)

I don't understand the numbering scheme. They have already come out with four versions of C&C, plus expansion packs.

Tiberium Dawn, Tiberium Sun, Red Alert 1, Red Alert 2, Renegede, Generals

Basically

CnC Tiberian Dawn = CnC 1

CnC Red Alert = Red Alert

CnC Tiberian Sun = CnC 2

CnC Red Alert 2 = Red Alert 2

CnC Generals + Zero Hour = CnC Generals

CnC Tiberium Wars = CnC 3

Only games from the Tiberium universe (excluding Renegade) are actually counted as true sequels.

Just remember- it's being made by EA, so all the pretty graphics just mean money taken away from decent programmers and competent writers.

GDI soldiers now look like marines from SC :o.

The graphics look kick-ass I just hope they won't mess up the Tiberium Sun storyline...

So far it looks like its going pretty well, I just hope that the GDI troops change. I really do not like the way they look. Oh and they changed GDI's sign, the bastards!

The storyline sounds pretty good. It sounds like all is good. Their hearts actually seem in it this time :)

Well...as long as Nod Gets the Subterrainian Transports and Devil's Tounge Flame tanks...I will be happy. I also hope they change the Mammoth Tanks...they look weak now. Whatever happened to the GDI Gold cloth uniforms?

Yeah, this is really apparent with C&C Generals. Sure, it's pretty and it has explosions and shit, but I see more strategic depth in a game of solitaire than that game. Better AI, too. And that's the actual card game, not the PC version. :D

Well, I've played C&C and own a Red Alert original copy, plus it's expansions, and although funny to play (in those days) I must acknowledge that their AI was easy as Hell to beat. Once you figured how their attack pattern drawns is easy to geographically counter and then take it to PC base. Or work the other way around, scout, take it to their base and then wait for they to come onto yours after setting up a couple defenses. :P
