It is certain that the beta will be heading to Europe, though we can't be certain of a timeline. Kat recently (actually, by recently, I mean about a month back) stated that they were beginning to work on setting up several more servers for the beta tests. Whether these servers include European servers, or whether they're 'theme servers' (ie. Roleplaying, PvP, etc.), we also can't really be sure.
A while before that, Blizzard made a news article stating that they would be creating a European Blizzard team to test and GM WoW locally. I am assuming that this means that we will be seeing WoW in a few other languages as well (French, German perhaps, etc.).
I would imagine the later stages of beta will include Europe in its ranks though, so you'll eventually have your time to play ^_^.
As for a release date, it's all guesses right now. Nothing has been given to the public about an official release date, mainly because Blizzard tends to miss their expected release dates (usually by a few solid months). It would be somewhat inane to put out an expect release date, and then overshoot, or undershoot that date by such a large chunk of time, so it's probably for the best that they did this (not to mention the amount of flaming that would go on in the bnet forums if they missed the date, even by a day :p).
If you want my honest guess though, we'll have WoW retail for Christmas of this year!

there is one thing I have tested, the beta for LIneage2 .. and it is good. but I didn't like the price .. so I am waiting for WoW. since blizzard always have been making games that is worth playing for a long time... ( diablo2 still sucks) after 2 year of playing... I think blizzard should bet WoW finished before that time,,.. I don't think so many people want to play AO, UO, linage2 and WoW at the same time.. I really HOPE WoW will be the best Mmorpg

If you're talking about L2, it will be released for retail much, much sooner than WoW. There is still a lot to be done with WoW, so we won't be seeing it anytime soon.

fixed :P
I bet it will be awhile yet. I bet they go over the projected 6 months of beta, unless they are going to keep most of the upper level content a surprise for retail.

Hahaha, I was thinking years, I just didn't want to seem too harsh ^_~.
I doubt Blizzard would let anything be a 'surprise', so to say. They'll thoroughly test the higher level content to make sure it's all fully functioning, well before they hit retail. You're right though, they do have a long way to go testing-wise. Half the game hasn't even been tapped into. I can't wait for the mounts to be available though! The hero classes too!
I'm going to go ahead and say the level cap will be lifted (perhaps not to 60, maybe just 40 or 50) for the third wave of WoW beta.

Let me think, if L2 gets to good, blizzard will lose many buyers.. So if they just could get the beta in europe starting,, That will make L2 loose many users... If the beta could just come in europe within the 2 next months..... I actually heard from a buy in wc3 that his uncle said to him that WoW beta will maybe be in europe in 8-10 weeks, , and that was around 4 weeks ago, so I have a hard time to trust him on that subject..

Yeah, and I heard a guy say on WC3 that his Uncle was Jesus.
Why would you ever believe someone on Bnet?

Sorry to say, but I'm very doubtful of that. I'd imagine it'd go for the usual MMO-costs of ~10 USD// month, perhaps add a bit to that figure. Of course, nothing is set in stone, so we'll see.

Hey, stop asking that. If you weren't selected for beta testing yet, don't worry about it. Just wait until a later phase, and they'll give you a torrent link in an email.
If you're talking about a pirated version of WoW, get the hell off of these boards ^_^. We don't support pirating Blizzard games around here. Thanks.
