Alright this thread may seem pointless, but I think it will be a lot of fun. And besides, us hardcore SC fans are running out of topics to discuss, so we must be creative. *hint hint Blizz*

Anyway, we have all noticed that a lot of the Toss speech is in their native language.
(by the way, does anyone know what their language is called)
And some of these words and phrases sound just like humans-when we swear.

So pick a word/phrase you think might be an obscenity, and guestamate what you thinks it means.

Arby: “incoseneen” To me it sounds like something said when a big mistake is made, like-O shit!

Zealot: “esaur-choo” That’s easy, he’s saying-Lets do the damn thing!

Goon: “Galossiss” He sounds surprised, so he is saying-What the hell?

I feel a mod coming on... Imagine it, the Marine is now the "Intern" that always gets owned when swarmed by Zergling "Crazed Old Ladies", but if you get a couple of Interns together, the Zealot "New Employee" goes down easy. Throw in some audio and change the GRPs and that thing would be kickin'!

:P Funny. I've used RetroGRP and tried changing some of the graphics a bit (for April Mad Mod) but couldn't get it to work and haven't had time to spend on it since. When I do I'll probably completely mod one unit (walk/attack/special animations, create new weapons, new sounds, portraits etc.), and you guys will go nuts.

The best way to understand what a unit is saying is what action it is undergoing. This can be evaluated using the Broodwar Sound Utility.
IE. If it is a 'Wht' sound (by Selecting the unit) it is most likely to be asking for orders or telling you what it should do. If it is a 'Yes' sound (by giving the unit Orders) it will be a positive/negative responce to your action. The 'Pss' sounds (used when Provoking a unit - constantly selecting it) are more or less bad mouthing you for constanly 'poking' them, but these are mostly all in English for Protoss and Terran so we don't have to translate them.
So for example, 'Magat-sulu', 'Loc-tie' and 'Me-tol-la' for Dragoon are its Order reactions so they are most likely along the lines of 'Let's Attack' or 'Vengence is mine' etc.

Two of them actually. One was right after the other. The first one sounded like some wierd music playing.(Probably a protoss radio station. That'd be creepy) And the other was a strange advert for Warcraft III (I think).

I think anything the toss units said when they are warped in the battlefield are english (except probes, reavers, shuttles, interceptors, observers cuz they are not manned by protoss). Though the templars seems to have a unusually stupid speech since they think humans are inferior.

"The carrier has arrived!"
...
