hello
i want a ai-script whith is EXTREME difficult. the insane aiscript sucks big time. if there is someone who can post one ore some nice tips that whould be great.
i also want the ai-script to handle all three rases in one player.

heh, if you can convert my script from 1.07 to 1.13f OR play it on 1.07, I have a really strong ai I made myself :P. If you're z, I promise you won't win. It expands three or two times more than the normal comp, it's money never rises over 1000, and it's unit choise is wise and does some handy tricks. If you're T it's still really strong, but not so strong, if Z It'll most likely slaughter you, if you're p... well, vs P script is not finished yet :P

if the insane AI could just be changed to build more buildings and expand rather than rely on stuff that's already been placed it could be fearsome

Also look for Shadowflares "Difficult" mod. That has a hard Aiscript too. And For a variety of harder Aiscript dowload the 7xPatcher (http://www.staredit.net/index.php?download=5043). Under "options" theres settings for different AIs. All though I must warn you the AIs in 7x cheat I think.

and I think that cheating doesn't matter as long as it plays somewhat normal, because it doesn't have a strategic mind, proper scripts for counter, or proper micro. Insane cheats too, so does mine, but mine's cheating is VERY limited

I don't want to play against AIs that cheat it just takes the fun away.. you can't steal their resources etc

ofcourse you can, depends of the scripts tho. insane is one, it has unlimitted, mine only gets rarely, but if you steal its resources, it'll be very very weak, like a normal player pretty much

Me and my friend just beat 6 insane comp(2zerg 2terran 2protoss) quite easily. that basic script isn´t so "insane". I have looked in the script with scaiedit, but not changed anything. Thought that someone already did that so i can try it out. Post a map or a webpage so i could get some scripts or maps.

Hover my text in my earlier thread. You'll find what you're looking for. As for the "Difficult" mod I'll have to look in my backups and find it. ShadowFlares sight is nolonger existant on the same server anymore.

yes. It's really strong, but thats only because it gets enormous amounts of money. it has like 6 drones mining each exp, (which is really small amount) and still makes massive amount of units. Anyone can make a uber comp if they cheat alot :O

I know comps can't micro or anything and they should need a little help, but I think giving them free cash is just some easy way out through all the hard coding. There are many other codes in SCAIEdit that could factor the game for the computers to have a better advantage.

When you said the comps don't have a proper counter, doesn't SCAiEdit not have enemyowns_jump? If the opponent has a Dark Templare couldn't you tell it to build an observer or com. station? defenseuse_ag; if the comp is being attack by Carreirs you could tell it to use Goliaths?

yes, but not PROPER counters. for example it might go mass gols vs p when p does just a few carrier harass, when only a few gols would be enough, and it still wouldn't really work properly..

And I agree that comps need a little help, but that AI that U-238 told gets huge amounts of money, it doesn't even mine money, it gets like 2000 ore and gas every minute or more. It's just fair if it sometimes gets it, but not often, but when they get ít all the time and not even having workers...

He said a hard AI. He didn't say a hard AI that didn't cheat.
