Okay, so for simplicities sake lets just say I bought MechWarrior 2 and tried it out. All I have to say is... it sucks. The gameplay is dull (shoot this thing, run around, shoot some more, rinse-repeat). The story is predictable, There is you and your people, you find old 'freind', old freind messes things up for you, old freind betrays you. one of your people gets captured, you go get your guy back and kill a main bad guy end of story. The plot devices are lame too, its mostly about fighting a faction of big-@ssed robots who for the first half of the game you don't know 2 spits worth about. And the other half is about piecing together puzzles about some sort of energy computer thing that boosts a Mech's power (they look really pathetic) The vehicle interaction is a lame attempt to add diversity to the game play, and in some vehicles the controls are reversed of what they usually are (and they are air vehicles) so you can't aim for sh!t. The graphics are good, but thats about the only thing. There are some missions (in a RUN-and-GUN game) where you stealth around as your little dude and blow things up and if you are spotted... game over. Another lousy attempt to add difficulty, in one level you have a turret (yeah, I said TURRET NOT MECH) to defend a bunch of stupid satellites (OMG ORIGINALLITY!!!11!one!) so one of your guys can send a message (whoop dee doo). Overall, its the same old thing but with glorified graphics and altered Mech Speeds. Right now I am stuck on the bullsh!t level I mentioned above so I could care less if the game cd was set on fire, thrown out a car window and smashed into itty bitty pieces, then blow away with the wind and burried in the ocean.

Or should I just turn down the dipsh!t default difficulty setting? -_-
