Just made tourny finals with imo, hopefully ill win it this time TT.

Holy crap. Tournies have gotten a lot less competitive since the last time I was in one.

It used to be that if you wanted to compete you needed to either be 7-2 or 6-1, and there were PAGES of 7-1 or 7-2 type setups. Now it's down to the fives on the first page?!

Well, looks like you got exactly as far as I did last time I got in a tourney finals - not past the first round. Nowadays 5-0 makes 2v2 tourney finals, although my friend and I had to go 6-1 because 5-0 was outside top 20.

Still... grats. Get in a solo tourney finals and that will really impress me. ;)

Wtf are you guys talking about. 2v2 tournys have always been 5-0 or 5-0-1 to nearly guarantee finals. And redrag i made semi finals of the last tourny i had with imo BUT LOST TO THAT GAY NE/ORC SHIT LIKE I LOST TO THIS TOURNY. -_-. Ive also made solo tourny finals before too but ive never made it past first round in solo tourny finals TT. I always seem to get matched vs someone pretty good. 2v2 tournys take longer to play the games then solo tournys usually. Not to mention 2 of th teams that made it to finals of this tourny, me and imo smoked them in preliminary rounds.

I always seem to get matched vs someone pretty good.

You seem to have a penchant for pointing out the obvious. 2v2 tourneys are generally 5-0-0 or 5-0-1 but are harder to get into on weekends, where you (in my experience) have to go 6-1-0 or 5-0-2.

5-0-2? You hardly ever even see 5-0-2. And uh i meant i ALWAYS SEEM TO PLAY SOME FAIRLY GOOD IN THE FINALS ROUND. Before making a witty comment about my post, consider its meaning. Its like they tell the little kiddies. Read.Think.Explain.

And going 6-1-0 isnt really that much harder than 5-0.

And before you know it, Cole will probably throw in the "every time I get beat by a team in the finals they ususally tend to be the overall tournament winner and we could have kicked their butts" arguement.

To bad its true judging by last nights tourny finals i was in. The team that beat us in finals was the tourny winner.

Well wisps, theirs different standards of good and bad when reffering to teams that are expected to win and teams that are expected to lose.
