You only need to open ports in order to host games or arranged team invites. You should be able to join games without a problem if the ports are closed.

For the Dell Truemobile 1184, you can find information about port forwarding here (http://docs.us.dell.com/docs/network/R48972/en/config/web_conf/advanced.htm#port_forwarding). The full manual starts here (http://docs.us.dell.com/docs/network/R48972/en/index.htm).

The port information for all Blizzard games is here (http://www.blizzard.com/support/?id=msi0445p).

Edit: It's probably best not to bother reading my post unless you have a smidge of knowledge about computers and routing, as I likely have some of the names messed because I'm just going from memory, and I haven't done this forever :p.

You may also want to note that they introduced UPNP in Windows XP, if you are in fact using Windows XP.

Universal Plug and Play allows you to easily configure ports on your computer, by simply heading to the network icon in your control panel. For certain programs (mainly things like MSN Messenger, and windows related stuff), it can automatically configure the ports for you, so you don't even have to worry about it.

In order to use it, you'd have to go add/remove programs, install system components, go to network, click on UPnP, and then install it. Restart the computer, and then go to your router webpage (I'm not too sure about this router specifically, but it's usually the IP of your router//your LAN), and click the enable UPnP box.

Now you're pretty much set to go. Once you do all this, your computer will recognize the new UPnP connection, and will say so in the bottom right corner of your screen. Now you'll have a new icon in your network connections, right click that, go to properties, and then click the settings button (I'm going just from memory, so some of the names may be a bit off) and you'll see a list of ports you can forward, and you can add ports to forward as well. If you want to add a new port forward, it's as simple as clicking the add port forward button, throwing in your local IP address (you can get this by going start -> run -> type in command and hit enter -> type in 'ipconfig/all' and hit enter - the numbers you want are the ones labelled under IP address), and the ports you want to configure.

The only problem with UPnP is that it cannot do multiple ports at once, as far as I know. So if you're planning on doing something crazy like opening ports 1024 - 5000, you're better off configuring it from the router page ^_~.

Looks like your computer has spyware on it. Download Ad-Aware (http://www.lavasoftusa.com/support/download/) and see if it removes it. If not, you'll have to use Hijack This! (http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/downloads.html) (scroll to Official Downloads section) - Tutorial (http://hjt.wizardsofwebsites.com/).

Another problem could be a software firewall. Try opening them there.
