Neither of you have given any contructive criticism. That's unfortunate.

Allright. First off, I'm not too enthusiastic about all the black lines with outer glow on them. You have to stop doing that in each and veery piece you make; it doesn't looks good at all. Here, it would definitely be a ood idea to have a 1 pixel border all along the sides. The left sidee of the image is fine, but the colours on the right seeem a bit too garish. Might want to tone it down a bit.

So overall its decent, but with some small changes (the colours and the lines), it would looks much better. Also, the woman sticks out. Remove her or reduce the opacity a wee bit.

If you really want to keep a line or two you could make a roughly 60% opacity horizontal line about 50 pixels above the base, and put a 30-40% opacity black mask over everything beneath it.

anyway, there isn't any outer glow on anything in that banner...i dont know why it looks like that. its just a 2 pixel stroke and drop shadows. And i made the borders with the polygonal lasso thingy in soft light.

i would not answer this silly comment but anyway...
the balrog is their to signify an evil power. The kings of chaos is an mmorpg which I and my alliance play. the name of the alliance if you hadn't already guessed was Queens of Chaos. Our alliance signifies a lot of things one of which is power. hence Balrog (rolls eyes).
