An alternative way of playing Orc vs Ud.

Ok so ever get bored of doing standard fs grunt to raider to wyv shit and want to try a strat that is a bit different but can work really good? This replay is for you. Ive perfected a new style of playing orc vs ud and its proven to be quite effective(This is the strat i was telling dd about earlier). It takes some degree of skill to pull off but ive tested it vs several level 30+ uds including the guy in this game and it proves to work pretty damn well. I made a few mistakes but all in all i played a pretty good game. Crazy game, with expos and wyvs everywhere along with me holding off a 50-60 food army with a level 5 tc and fs and 2 wyvs,lol. He was getting really pissed too. Was awesome.

There are tons of non-cookie cutter ways to play vs Undead that work quite well. I just watched a high level replay where the Orc went solo SH/mass HH/Kodos and won. Then, of course, there's Far Sighted Mass Raiders. Repeatedly own your opponent's base with speed scrolls and TPs when he isn't there and then run for your skinny little life when he gets back. Doesn't always work, but it's fun. ;)

I've actually started playing Panda first vs Hu which works surprisingly well most of the time, and as you can get an extra Grunt out because you build an early Rax, at the cost of a slightly later tech, you can pressure your opponent's base and creepjack etcetera a lot.

Rifle/Caster and Breakers with mass summons is just sick, especially when you get to Tier 3 and add in Polymorph/Knights/Gryphons. Walkers can only dispel so much! 100 mana per area of effect spell against Slow (which is easily spammable), Polymorph and Summons (which are also easily spammable due to Brilliance Aura) is too much.

Yes, human tier3 > orc tier3 when orc gives a chance to get a bunch of tier3 units ;o
Yes, human mass casters & summons > (or =) orc on tavern maps

Well, I know I just suck with humans (guess they need TRUE skill, which I lack, or maybe I should start "using" towers) but I still find human the easiest matchup when playing any race =o

I just hate wc3 for sfdhkljg because qwwetyer. I just type too much. sdfhfjkg

i just find that i play humans on ladder about the least, so when i actually do play them, i don't know timing issues and such.

maybe i'll just start going solo tc grunt/sham and spamming LS all over the place

and cole, ur strat would be 100x better if u went BM/SH instead of FS/TC. You probably would have gotten kills early game instead of just stalling him, you would delay his tech with aco kills, and late game you have a way of not only seeing his tech (btw, he thought you were going to switch to taurens), but also harassing acos more.

i think if he wouldnt have left the game he had it in the bag ;x i guess i just dont think of it as a "new" strat, its just straight tech without a rax into pure wyv. nothing new there

for retards like you no matchup even comes close to balanced.
really, except for orc v ud, ud v hu, orc v ne all matchups are pretty freaking balanced.
what about actually trying to play better instead of constantly blaming everything on imbalances.
even those three matchups are pretty easy to win if you just slightly outplay youre opponent

Problem with BM is you lose level 3 wolves and CL which are vital when using pure wyvern. Then ghoul fiend aoe tends to gg that pure wyv strat. I admit my strat is nothing outstandling orginal but its just another viable option if your tired of playing standard way. Actually DD, i would have won. I admit it looks bad for me but since i had shop but and 2 expos whil in progress of gettting a third, i was healing my heros and getting full mana so i could speed scroll in AOE him and rush out. Just sorta drain him till i could get beastirys back up. He was getting really pissed though,lol.

As for early game, im usually able to put the DK in such low health or even kill it that it makes creeping for him a real bitch and he stays my level. The game before that i was able to do that to bwang but second game he got smart and figured out how to prevent that.
