Design Bumps

Can someone help me out here?

I know where to go for Fonts.
I know where to go for stocks (Well w/bugmenot ftw :<)

But I have no idea where to go for like... I want to say icons, but not really. Such as, for example, I am looking for a few icons to use on a new site design, particularly I want a cartoony (Somewhat) version of a guitar -- with perhaps a musical note near it. I would also like to get a couple of other types of graphics to use here.

The only problem is, after googling for about an hour or so, I am at a loss.

I don't want computer icons or thier crappiness. I don't need high quality XP-style icons for a computer, and I've tried clipart stuff, but almost all of those are completely useless.

I've even gone to flashkit, but for some reason it seems like they've totally sold out -- and thier site is really hard to navigate or understand.

So can anyone help?

Mostly I just want some nifty little icons to stick near some button text (ie: "Gigs" with a guitar thingy next to it, "Bio" with a little notebook paper icon thingy next to it, etc...).

I mean, is there no place to find stuff like this? Do you just jump into google's image search and search forever?

Why not just take the clipart that you've found and reduce the size?
Perhaps I don't understand what you're trying for.

I want something that isn't exactly as wierd looking as Microsofts clipart, like, I was just wondering if someone had a good place to get such smaller graphics.

Clipart isn't all its cracked up to be anyways, I want something that actually looks good -- not like it was done by a 2 year old, or created in paint.

Oh well. I did find a guitar thingy though.

look on the web for something like free clipart

and if youre feeling creative, try microangelo, its a program that creates little icons, its very powerful but its limited time trial
