Graphics And CWADs

Ok, 2 two quistions.
1.) I'm looking for a site that has a bunch of grps avalible for download -- I found it once, but now I can't remember what it was. >.< The closest I got was http://www.infoceptor.com/cgraphics.shtml,
which brings us to my next querry,
2.) What is a CWAD? All the files on the website I just gave are ic CWAS format, How do I extract them?

CWADs were used in the earlier days of SC modding, alot like MPQs, but only worked with earlier patches such as 1.07

1)Not sure infoceptor is the only one I know of thats good. Allthough I've heard that there was a German one that was really good too. (If anyone know the address of the German sight tell me. I've been dying to look at it.)

2) A CWAD is the old format of modding. Back in the day when StarDraft was used it used CWADs to store the edited files. Today instead of CWADs we use MPQs

I just thought of something... Is alright for me to use those graphics on infocepter as long as I give credit where it's due? or are they copyrighted or something?

If they were posted up, then they're yours to use freely
None of the mods or conversions that I've seen so far are copyrighted

yay! But whenever i use EXEtoMPQ the cwads I downloaded don't show up on the open list.

It should
But you have to use E2M on the exe that the add-on creates when you double click on it
Otherwise, it won't work = \
And don't bother trying it on normal current MPQs, it won't work

Whenever I click on a CWAD it just pops up a box saying
" windows cannot open this file:

File: pjuggernuat.cwd

to open this file, Windows needs to know what program created it. Windows can go online to look it up automaticly, or you can manually select it from a list of programs on your computer."

I tried opening it up with EXE to MPQ but all it does is launch the program, nothing else.

You need stardraft to extract files from regular cwads.

Yeah, StarDraft or CWAD2MPQ. I don't remember if CWAD2MPQ is on StarCraft.org, but StarDraft definitely is.
