Plz Help!!!
/me asks for thread moval into the Maps & Mods Depot section (http://www.warboards.org/forumdisplay.php?f=19)*
Howdy B1x and welcome on board. :)
1st of all, did you installed SCXE (StarCraft X-tra Editor) into the same folder directory where your SC-BW is? If not, uninstall it and then intall it again in the exact same directory.
2nd, for it to work you also need to have BW (BroodWar) installed. But this last step you could also have found out in the SC Mapping FAQ thread (http://www.warboards.org/showthread.php?t=13285), which is where you can find other useful informations about mapping so far (the modding part is on ho... *errm* development). But if you use the inborn search feature located on the "Menu" bar that hovers on the top left side of any WB's page you'll find older FAQ's for modding as well. ;)

It works just like the normal campaign editor. the only differances are where you can place things and that you can place unused units.

there r also a few more Scripts to it. and u can place buildings n e where, not units. It also allows u to give n e color n e race and still have the others available to them, instead of having to add a change unit to player trig.
The bad thing about it is the Trigger screen might be big.

Now in English, please. And, from what I could gather (in the above quote), you know that you're incorrect in some of these ya know?
You can place also units, even the unseen ones, like for instance Aldaris or Mengsk's BC.
Plus, you cannot change race's colours from the default atributted ones, but you can have multiple races' units in one player set by simply changing the settings in the unit's properties window.
And btw, I couldn't tell head from tail on that "having to add a change unit to player trigger" thing. What do you mean?
The bad thing about it is the Trigger screen might be big.
That also has a known fix (http://www.staredit.net/index.php?download=1116). I hope it does the trick. ;)
Edit add:
Thanks
You're welcome. :)
