Your favorite admin has just gotten himself a Beta key .. so .. I'm about 200 hours out from getting the rest of the beta downloaded.

On the off-chance that any of you can get it quicker and get a chance to play it -- first impressions?

Awesome. Let me know what name you end up choosing on there. Any idea what you are going to play? I'm going with a horde character this time, just so I can experience a different part of the world. I have no idea what I'm going to take yet though. Mage and Warlock are out. I'm even considering a 2nd warrior since that was so fun, but I should give another class a chance :)

Heh, this'll be my first time in WoW, so I think I may just go with a basic Human.. probably a rather simple class too, not sure which I'll decide on.

But yeah, I'm totally open to gaming w/ any of you guys -- gotta get things all installed first. : )

I was getting quite interested in the Shaman, with all its totems and other magical things...

I read somewhere that Warriors might possibly be the most popular class?

And just so this message has a lucky three questions, which classes have you played up till now?

Actually, according to a poll taken by thousands (and when I say thousands, I mean it was > 10 000) of gamers anticipating WoW, the Night Elf Hunter was the most popular choice. Of course, that's a public poll, taken by thousands of people that have never even played WoW, so I'm not too sure about whether warriors would be the most popular choice in beta. It is, however, very likely that those rumours are true though, as the Warrior class is available to all races.

Anyway, I didn't get second wave (and apparently second push doesn't equal second wave anyway :\), so I'll just have to wait a wee bit longer.

I played a Warrior and loved it. If you want to be able to solo, this is one of the few classes that can do it really well. I had a really good time playing as a warrior. I almost did a 2nd warrior, but figured I should try something new.

Yeah, he's been a really fun character, I just haven't had the time to level him up past lvl 8 so far.
But WoW's been just about everything I could ask from a MMORPG so far, so i'm pretty content. : )

Night elf eh? So far I only have 2 horde characters this push. I hope they can figure out a way to let us play our old characters again at some point. Anyways, if anyone wants to team sometime
