i will put on the stage a toaster...a cute little machine...
cold on the outside but hot on the inside...
a complex toaster covers up about 1/100 or 1 out of 100 of my characteristics in life.

but i need to know what are the "characteristics"/anything about toasters if compared to an individual?
i need help!

A toaster makes toast...What more do you need to know? Toasters don't have characteristics!!!

Toasters have a cold, metallic exterior, but if you plug them in, throw in some bread, and push the right buttons, you get tasty toast for your eating pleasure.

Haha, is this for like an English assignment or something?

Um, you put something in it and it is transformed into something else

The heating coils are like the pressures and influences of people you meet in life

You only get out of it as much as you put in

All it takes is a little push (on the knob) and that gets the whole ball rolling, but you have to be willing to take the initiative

that's all i got for now

Probably, but you also gotta remember some tosters are complete screw ups that only toastpart of the bread and the rest of it just gets hard/brittle. Stupid DBTs.

A toaster screams "Huzzah" and falls from the air. You then fight it. It can jump, shoot energy balls and fire missiles.

Toasters are weird. You put in bread, and in a few minutes toast pops out! But..! Where did the bread go??!

some toasters have cancel buttons, in case you dont want toast.

Why would you need to cancel toast? If you didn't want it you just wouldn't start it in the first place. I can hardly see someone putting bread in the toaster by accident. Anywayz, even when you do cancel it, you'd just get this half bread, half toast object that is no good to eat as toast or bread.

Why am I arguing about this? There has got to be more interesting things to talk about!!:(

Edit: Why are we all arguing about this!!?? It's a toaster!!!

ANO BA?!?!? O! TE! ANO KA DA!? MAOY KA NO???

In English: WHAT?!? A TOASTER is a thing that cooks BREAD. Sometimes, it's only white bread that some American TOASTERS can toast, but in the PHILIPPINES, a MICROWAVE OVEN can be used to cook other varieties of bread.

I thought microwaves just made bread soft and soggy.

Nay, my microwave oven can cook toast as well :). Just have to put in the right settings and nuke away.

A toaster like life can be unpredictable, even if you set it for a certian setting it doesn't mean your toast will be perfect. Also if you leave the toast to focus on other things it can get burnt. Just like when you're older and have a family you often forget about yourself, focus on others and in the end you get burnt.

haha, comparing life to a toaster.

God forbid we care about others. Might get burnt.

Also if you leave the toast to focus on other things it can get burnt. Just like when you're older and have a family you often forget about yourself, focus on others and in the end you get burnt.

But if you check on the bread every 2 seconds to make sure it's toasting perfectly, it'll end up untoasted and soggy. You gotta find that balance.

You gotta find that balance.

But balance cannot be attained without proper observation. You have to monitor the situation in order to find elements of balance.

nice tagalog language kazansky...
but i'm not interested with the toasters in the Philippines, because my mind didn't cultivate much in that nation...
i just would like to think what you guys think about toasters, this isn't about an english project or anything. :)

the toaster has developed during the succeeding years,am i correct?
the toaster has an inventor, and then craftsmen to make a toaster more complex like turning a calculator into a cash register :b
this toaster, sometimes having no change of look in the outside, but mostly changes on the inside because of the one who models it, is something to be considered when looking onto someone you think is inferior than yourself.the person may look cold on the outside from your point of view but if you observe the source, that guy/girl is burning hot.
but that is only one of my assumptions.i need more of your opinions and thoughts. :)

i like what pixels is pointing out here, the other functions a toaster could do.
i sort of laughed at kazansky.(how did you know to use that language?you're much better than i am!)
and i never thought of microwaves, although we have one and we use it for toasting...i am more accustomed to using the term "toasters" and picture the original mechanical one,not those microwaves.
i also like your answer chibi,i seldom see your posts anymore though.

i like all your answers so keep them coming!

cheers!

But balance cannot be attained without proper observation. You have to monitor the situation in order to find elements of balance.
It also takes a degree of risk. You spin the dial to what you think will be the right number and hope for the best when it comes out.

I'm suprized that nobody has mentioned the fact that a toaster is completely useless without bread. Relate that to your life. ;)

what can i do without God?

for it is written:
man does not live on bread alone but on the very Word of God.

who puts the bread on the toaster?is has to be someone.
