Turn on anti-alasting so the text dosen't have such sharp edges. It would be easier on the eyes.

And there's absolutely no option to antialias text? o.O Your prog suxx0rz if that's the case, sorry to say.

Yeah, I suggested that in the first reply, but he seems to have completely ignored me.

The second is better in my opinion, but the typography on both is crappy. Well the title is ok, just needs to be smoother, but the font in the upper right corner is, to be blunt, utter crap. It's too pixely, and I don't really like the font. But it's really up to you.

I didnt ignore you ZeroDarkStar

i might redo some of the text in 3ds so that it will be smoother

No, I mean't suggesting that you use Anti-Aliasting.

Ah. Okay. Yep, it might come out smoother if you do it in 3ds. ^_^

Yes -- but only for the text that says THESOUTHERNLEGACY -- keep the other text as it is.

I like the second one more than the first...it's smoother, and the technique used in the first one has been around for a while =P

The fonts aren't that great. "SeeTheFury Productions" would look better in a bitmap font.

Second one looks better but I suggest a better font.......

arg... I posted and then I had to log in again and I lost all my text. Here's a really short summary of what I said.

I like your compass, it's really cool. Did you draw that?

Anyway, the background kind of overpowers the compass, and that's what we want to bring attention to. So I would suggest two things: desaturating a little -and- changing the colour in the cyan direction or making it orange (which would kick ass, I gotta say.)

Also, try motion blurring the background of the second one in the same direction as the compass's point. That will gain a bit of that smoothness that everyone likes about the second sig.

Finally, the text is a bit unclear. I would suggest a few things:

Give the text a glow or drop shadow:

Give it a box for it to sit on:

Give it a border thingy

Make the background more plain (which you should be doing with the colour and desaturation)

And that was a summary of my whole post that didn't post.

Great minds...

Good work with the compass. Really good work. Seriously, I should learn 3D Studio Max (is that what 3ds means?) I think we have it at school when I think about it... I'll check.

yes 3ds = 3d studio max. the compass was easy took me 10 minutes tops and most of that was getting the lighting and camera angles the way i wanted them.

im home now and here is the original one i made. the only thing that isnt 3ds is the text
